          Damn, that was a good comeback.

          And FYI Bears dont necessarily work

          Bearing has a job. He made YouTube his job.

    For anyone looking to reprogram mouse buttons there's a handy free ware called X-mouse which can do the basics:

      and for mac, USB Overdrive.

    • is there something like that for keyboards?

      • https://autohotkey.com/

        requires you to learn some scripting language

        • Thanks, do you know if you can script keys like "web page back" "web page forward" "home" etc, unusual type keys ?

        • autohotkey is freakin awesome, i once automated my job to the point that when i quit, they didn't replace me, they just moved my PC to another person's desk and they supervised the script which ran.

          my all time favourite? - the script which opens a blank notepad window, or if you've already got one open that you're spamming notes into, it brings it into window focus (by pressing windows + n)

          #n::

          IfWinExist Untitled - Notepad
          {
          WinActivate
          }
          else
          {
          Run Notepad
          WinWait Untitled - Notepad
          WinActivate
          }

          return

        • @jaybo: wow, sounds like you managed to get yourself kicked from a boring job. Sorry, but if your job can be done by script then you are going to get bored pretty soon.

        • @expertreader: that's why i left :P

          actually it gave me some good opportunities, i essentially got to "floor walk" for the customer service area while all my boring paperwork style crap just happened in the background.

          helping all the girls in customer service was far more enjoyable than staring at spreadsheets of phonenumbers

    How much does it them cost to make, 10 cents?

    • How much does it them cost to make, 10 cents?

      It's not so much that - but rather that they are using a low selling price item as a "hook" to draw people into the ebay store. A certain percentage of people will check "Sellers Other Items".

      If you check this for yourself, you will understand more about what this promo item (mouse) is about :-)

      • I'm at work and decided to check that out. Well played llama.

  • Just in case the one from this deal sells out

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121877814935

    Like a true ozbargainer, I bought one from each seller. Quite unlike a true ozbargainer, I paid $0.30 extra for the one I linked to.

    • Thanks, bought two.

  • +2

    Save 18c with this one

    • they were out of stock earlier. nice find.

    • +1

      Nice find, I got one, proud save 18c

    This guy has a lot of other very 'cool' things listed as well. Check out his other items. Far out!

      Don't you mean Far IN ??

      Out

      In

      Out

      LOL

    • yep. made the mistake of going to sellers store while at work.

  • Careful with this cheap china stuff, I have ordered 3 things that looked like good deals, from Ebay, all never shipped.

    • Then you have your money back and one negative feedback to leave. what you have got to lose?

      • yeah they delete their account, it's pretty crap.

        • I've been ordering cheap crap from china for years, never once had a no-show? Is your Paypal address correct?

  • This is so professional that it must be better than my Razer Taipan BF4 Collector's Edition mouse, not.

    • +4

      Well I don't see the hallowed "Professional" name on yours so obviously it's below this as far as performance.

  • 1 per customer.

  • don't forget cashrewards eh

    • Eh bro.

    • By the time you login to cash rewards, the deal might (which did) sold out quicker. Anyway how much can you save from $2 item with 2.5% cash back 2.5¢. Really, I wouldn't even bother with that unless the item value is more than $10 atleast.

  • Might give this a try. Looks good from all of the positive feedback I've been reading.

    Don't know how they can make them this cheaply, especially with the lighting and programmable buttons…

  • Same seller has another mouse with different design, lower DPI but 7 colour backlight for $1.48.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/7-color-Backlight-/172179738825

    I searched some of the other mouse deals… there are tons of deals for Pro Gaming mice, so I am not 100% sure that this deal has the best possible price.

  • +4

    Far out really regret getting my g502 now.

    I could have bought 50 of these amazing buggers.

  • +2

    Most likely made with extremely toxic coloring.

  • best mouse i ever used. dont kno why ppl pay 100bux for razers those are just reskinned version of this.

    • Looks like a cheap poor quality crap compared to a good Razer gaming mouse. The materials look cheaply made. So you're comparing a $1.50 mouse to a high end gaming mouse.

      • i've disassembled both and they are the same inside. clearly being ripped off by razer

        • -1

          More like they are ripping off Razer if they stole their designs. But i highly doubt they are exactly the same quality in both. I can tell just by looking at the photos that they aren't up to the quality league of a good Razer mouse. The plastic looks cheap quality.

          You don't manufacture a mouse to sell for $1.50 delivered without severely cutting corners in quality.

        • +1

          @hollykryten:

          I've actually swapped the inside of thius mouse into a razer housing and all the screws fit perfectly. its just a bit lighter

        • -2

          @dabell:

          Well then it's obvious that they are ripping off Razer's designs. Typical cheap crap Chinese made stuff ripping off other companies designs. I wouldn't expect this mouse to last a year.

      • +1

        Looks like a cheap poor quality crap compared to a good Razer gaming mouse

        Not sure if trolling?

        I read it as a hilarious comment, considering that Razer mice are well known for being nothing particularly special (except for usually being quite ugly, with gaudy designs with coloured lights inside that appeal to preteens).

        From my experience with the brand, I certainly wouldn't class a Razer mouse as a "high quality" (the components and durability is absolutely crap).

        However, dabells comments are even funnier than yours :-D

        • I have some experience with Razer gear. I currently have a Razer Taipan BF4 Edition mouse and it's been working great. Feels very well built.

        • +1

          @hollykryten:

          You are talking $50 to $100 compared to $1.50.

          The Razers that I've owned always gum up on the "soft touch" areas which breaks down and feels yuk. The switches fail (left button especially…. also the bit on the top of the mouse that presses on the switch inside wears and eventually they won't click properly.

          Numerous cable issues too, due to strain where it enters the mouse.

          I never liked them myself, however they are definitely popular with some demographics. I am more of a "Pro" user (dunno exactly what that means, but didn't want to say "mature" or "discerning" or "with higher expectations"). LOL

  • +3

    made using genuine gutter oil

  • How do they make a profit on this thing .. shipping alone would be $1.50

    • +1

      buy selling you other stuff on their page. Warning, their other stuff isn't work safe.

        High Quality Soft Adult Male Man Toy 3 Types Portable Skin Safe .. It may not be office safe but at least its skin safe

        :) i looked up the items in the office.

        How strange.. promote Adult only toys by selling cheap gaming mouses lol WHAT lol!!!

        • +1

          Makes sense … gamers are usually socially inept and poor :D

    • just shows how much margin can be made on selling gaming mouses. Logitech/razer/steel got us good. Time to start a Ozbargain brand gaming mouse and reskin these i think. Orange and White theme!

      • +2

        As i said you don't make a mouse for $1.50 without severely cutting corners on quality. This thing would probably fall apart in your hands after a few weeks. Atleast Razer/Logitech/Steel make a mouse which doesn't fall apart or the electronics burn out. This noname manufacturer likely has no QA testing at all so the chances of receiving a dud/DOA would be likely.

        • Yet the only neg feedback for these mice is for non-receipt - 1 or 2.

        • +2

          Lies, I already threw out my non-professional Logitech G502 in anticipation of this professional tool's arrival.

        • I am using one of these generic Chinese adjustable DPI mouses now. After about a year the cord broke, swapped it out with another USB and has been working well a year later.

          It has been dropped on the floorboards a heap of times and gets a lot of use.

          These are far more robust than you give them credit for. The price is an obvious loss leader as well. These do not cost them less than a dollar to make.

  • Looks like a good mousse, I would buy 2

  • Chinese toxic mouse, ull get skin cancer on Ur hand after 10 years.

    • +1

      Should I be worried if I only bought it as a spare?

    • THe skin does a great job protecting us from toxens.. hard plastics are a non issue.. i would start to worry about soft plastics and gluey playdo goo before i ever worried about hard plastics… the few days of off gasing the item (all new plastic) and its all good!

      I would be more worried about holding a mobile phone 24/7… it is very very slowly cooking your hand like a microwave. :) make sure you eat lots of DNA repairing foods like avocado and beetroot and get Vitamin D, use non wireless mouses and keyboards and you should be all good for the next 30 years of Tech use.

    Out of stock. But check out the sellers other items for other gift ideas for the whole family.

  • I have just received this mouse today. But the mouse does not move even though lights turn on and the left, right and side mouse buttons work. Anyone having similar issues?

    • Got mine today as well. It doesnt work on plain/glossy surfaces, put it on top of a normal mouse pad or piece of paper and it works great. :)

      • Thanks for the tip, but it still doesn't work on both normal paper nor mousepad. Maybe I got a dud.
        I'm thinking of opening up the mouse to have a look; not sure what to look for though.
        Also I don't see any laser light coming out from the bottom of the mouse hole like a normal laser mouse. Is that normal?

        • This is an optical mouse (not laser), it should have a red light under it.

          Got my one yesterday. Works well.

        • @Duff5000: Sorry that's what I meant, there is no red light under mouse illuminating the light pipe directly into the sensor.
          The only light emitted comes form the body of the mouse.

        • @kitsumon:

          No worries, just thought i should clarify as I had a laser mouse in the past and it had no visible beam. These though should have a bright red led under them.

        • @Duff5000: Thanks for clarifying that the red LED light should be showing.

          I've disassembled the mouse and found that LED was very sensitive. When I touched it, it would turn on and go back out if I left it alone. So I jiggled it a bit and realigned it so it stays on; works fine now.

          I hope this helps someone with similar issues.

          PRO TIP in dissembling the mouse: Below the "Made in China" text, you should see a smooth "V" shaped padding where the mouse glides over. Peeling this away reveals 2 screws to take the whole cover off.

        • Good to hear its working. Do your mice only work on a non glossy surface?

        • @kharn83: Yep that's right, for me it only works on non-glossy surfaces like fabric and paper.
          It doesn't pick up my normal glossy desk surface.

  • received mine today. I like the colour changing. all the buttons and the braided cord. nicely boxed + bubble wrapped (not just posted in bubble envelope)

    functionality - accurate. nice scrolling action. no jumping or lag.

    For $1.50 delivered i have to say it is a bargain.

    Thanks OP.
