Corsair Mechanical Keyboards $10- $30 off at Mwave

31

It seems the Corsair range of mech keyboards have got $10-$30 shaved off. Other brands too????

I know for a fact that the K70 RGB Brown I'm desiring to get was definitely not $199 the other day.

Used in conjunction with Amex $40 rebate it would have been a very tempting deal but $32 post to WA and 2% card surcharge has killed that enthusiasm for me. No doubt Ebay will be due for sale soon :)

This is OzBargain, not OzDiscount. These keyboards are all either the same price or cheaper at MSY, so this is not worth posting at all.

I have no clue how the Amex rebate works though, so if that's the bargain here, restructure your post around that, and I'll remove my neg.

I am also looking for a decent priced full-size Cherry Brown/Red keyboard. Those prices are not much different from MSY's regular prices :(

      • FWIW I bought a Logitech G610 Brown a few months ago and it's been absolutely fantastic. I use it in the office for typing only and the plain black with white led backlighting doesn't scream "gaming" at all which is nice. I will never go back to a non-mechanical kb now. So much more comfortable to type on. I think rrp is about 149.

WEll technically the k70 RGB brown, my interest, is $10 cheaper than MSY. But yeah otherwise I see not much difference. I just find MSY too ill designed to ever visit.
As for the AmEx offer, I can't find exact posting for MWave involvement but there's still many other postings you can see how AmEx offer cashback if using their card when buying with certain shops.
Hence, the combination of keyboard discount and AmEx cashback I thought was worthy of a 'bargain' posting :)

The people who buy from MSY know what they want and aren't too fazed by a 90's inspired website design.

Did you know MSY owes it's success to it's easy to read, and easy to navigate, PARTS.PDF? They get their inspiration from a menu of a cheap chinese take-away shop.

That's all it needs to build a successful business. No frills, Low prices everyday.

        • The people who buy from MSY know what they want

A magnifying glass when they get to the parts list :D

        • Did you know MSY owes it's success to …

and then some, like MSY Technology penalised $203,500 for false and misleading consumer warranty representations.

        • @AlexF: Old news, and nobody cares.

EDIT: VERY old news, and totally irrelevant to anything.

        • @AlexF: I don't condone that behaviour, but all computer shops have bad after sales service. There's not enough margins to support it.

        • @coxymla:

Other shops sell products that are supported by the retailer, official distributor and manufacturer.

MSY were parallel importing some products, without distributor's or manufacturer's approval, which is fine, but were then shirking their responsibility to support them.

Luckily, now, ACL makes responsible very clear. Thank goodness for ACCC.

  • The amex offer isn't bad, but you do get hit with Bank fees to process amex payment.

Add shipping to Victoria and it's cheaper elsewhere.

    Shaved off what?

So, they've put the price up huh?

In any case, nobody here cares how much the discount is.

That "K70 RGB Brown you're desiring to get" is still too expensive at $199.
