  • Bought a very similar one a couple of years ago from Anaconda and it's been used about a dozen times and still going strong . Easy to pop up and down .

  • What's "one step setup"? Can't find details in the web. How does it work and how bulky is it when in a bag?

These tents are awesome. Was at the beach on Sunday and saw a family taking ages to put up a normal camping tent on the beach…was fun to watch..haha

      Collapsed Size
I have the Tri Shade model, so it might not be exactly the same dimensions, but it collapses to about 50cm long and 15cm wide. Comes with a carry bag. Comparable to a small version those cheap foldable camping chairs you can buy from bunnings/kmart etc

      One step setup
Instead of having to construct all the poles one by one, insert them into the tent, etc, they are already in place in the tent, but all linked by these fabric (nylon?) cords. You pull on the one "master" cord (near the round black thing at the top about the size of a tennis ball) until it clicks into place and it opens up sort of like an upside down umbrella (dunno if that is the best way to describe it). When it works it is quite good, the advice I would provide is if you are not paying attention, the fabric can get caught on the joints of the poles and tear the stitching. But once you learn to check the joints first, it does only take a few moments to put up and collapse (Again, this is for the Tri Shade model, but they are all fairly similar, just different sizes/shapes). Taking down is just the reverse, unclick and fold up. Removing any sand pegs/sand weight beforehand obviously.

      • Awesome, thank you!

        • My memory is terrible; just looking at the tent now, and collapsed length is about twice what I thought initially. My bad.

  • Delivery $14.99 kills the deal

    • Pick up then

      • Not available on Melbourne stores.

    • Still awesome and useful. Ta!

  • I've had a chance to set it up. Very easy setup (just pull the cord). No snagging issues. Well made. I chose this one over others I had seen, because of the 3 zippered mesh windows and the price. ;-)
