  • Do Scoopon usually sell theme park tickets? I can't see any on there when location is set to Gold Coast.

I am hoping to combine this deal (across three Amexs) with whatever other deals they may have on tickets.

    • I'm suuure I've seen theme parks on there. Though i don't know if they're cheaper than other deals.

  • nice!! great deal!

Now we just need scoopon to sell WW cards =D

      Hopefully before 11/11/2016

  • I can't enrol with my Amex Essential Card (registered directly on amex website). Is this only for bank issued card?

    • +2

Use the manual link as mentioned by forumnunja in first comment.

      • It works!! Thanks! But I'm wondering why I can't enrol to any offers on amex connect site using this Amex Essential card. My NAB Amex can enrol fine on that site.

        • +1

Use a different email address to register the other card

        • @Turd:
I changed my email and still doesn't work. I can login to amex connect but whenever I click on 'Enrol' button, I get redirected to global.americanexpress.com and then nothing happens

        • +3

@binks: Amex Connect is only for bank-issued cards. For Amex-issued cards the offers are in the 'Offers & Places' section after logging in at americanexpress.com.au.

If the offer is not showing up under 'Offers & Places' on your Amex Essential card then just use the manul link at the bottom of the OP's post.

No matter what type of card you have (Amex-issued or bank-issued) the manual registration will work. Also, after you have done the manual registration if you then go into 'My Offers/MySaved Offers' of either Amex Connect or Amex.com then you will see the offer has been registered against your card in there.

If anyone actually buys anything please do tell.

    • Yeap I have bought different items adding upto $50 and got the email straight away.

Just got a spam from Scoopon for a carton of wine for $69.

      https://www.scoopon.com.au/deals/70702/stock-up-with-12-bott…

Not sure whether to trust a bottle that has Comic Sans on the label though, even if it is $4.50 per bottle delivered.

      • I bought the Salmon Bay wine for 69, similar deal. Fingers crossed. Can't go too wrong for this price I guess…

Bummer, can't register the deal to my Qantas Discovery Amex card :( Also same issue with the recent Dan offer. Not sure if others have the same issue?

    • Use the manual link at the bottom of the OP's post. It will work

      • Thank you, appreciate your assistance :) Do you have a similar hint as to getting the Dan Murphy's offer on my card?

        • use the automatic link this time

        • Do you mean this deal? If so there is a manual link in the bottom of that post too :)

  • Guys would the 'American Express Essential Credit Card' be entitled to this deal if signed up for via AMEX themselves?

    • +1

Use the manual link at the bottom of the OP's post. It will work

Too bad I've sworn myself off group buying sites… too many negative experiences for my liking

    • +2

I agree, but to be fair if you buy a product rather than a "reservation" there's not much that can go wrong.

  • +2

Don't forget 3.2% Cash Rewards cashback.

    • only if you don't get the 10% off on the 'getappy' code for buying through the app today. after the 12/10 i would use the cash rewards then.

  • Thoughts about the Personally Engraved Cutting Board coupon?

  • I have an Amex issued one too but ofor the chartered accountants and can confirm it doesn't show up under the offers on the mobile app either. will try the manual link, but usually I get most things. I don't think I can see the dan murphys one running currently either.

  • +2

Is this deal valid when using the app or only via the website? Extra 10% off using the app with "getappy" code for 12/10/2016 only…..

  • are those christmas hampers ($39, $69) worth it? anyone received one before?

    • +1

I have no experience with scoopon hampers but hampers in general are usually not worth it.

  • Is this valid for the app and include shipping?

  • Bought $79 voucher via APP. Received 10% discount at checkout and Amex $15 credit email to confirm the purchase so eventually paid around $55.

    • the chesters restaurant? :D

  • Am I reading it correctly, one or more - so we can buy $50+ items a few times? multiple use as long as we use the Amex before 11/11? I am looking at a few dining offers.

    • +1

      Per the ozb listing:

"Offer is limited to one credit per registered Card. Only spend on the Card number you register counts towards the Offer."

  • buy precisely $56 to get best value with amex

  • Thanks for posting, shame this offer is already exhausted. Was loading up my new card with offers today.

  • What have people bought so far for this promo?

  • I am a little confused with one or more transactions. so can I purchase 5 X $10 deal in separate transactions to get the credit?

    • Yeah. As long as total is $50 or more

  • can anyone confirm if items bought at
    "shopping.scoopon.com.au" are billed as "scoopon.com.au" ??

  • Why is this listed as expired?

    • Probably because registration of this offer has expired

      • Says it closes 11/11

        • +2

That's the transaction expiry date. I meant the card registration expiry.

  • Hey subscribers, just in case you didn't notice. There are VIP codes for additional savings today at Scoopon.
