  • So this is your +nth account?

  • I used the code for the 5% off and free delivery + AMEX cash back, but how does the $32 cash back work? Does it go towards your cash reward balance?

  • +4

And… if you are a complete newbie to cashrewards you can claim the $5 Cashrewards referral sign-up too!

    • +3

Haha! How could I forget that. Will add to desc now. Thank you :)

  • Is it only one Woolworths account per CR account? Cos I have signed up the first time and got my cashback and then tried signing up a friend through my CR account. I didn't get a cashback for that.

  • Don't be fooled to believe Woolworths actually store coupon code used for every orders and then somehow use that to decide whether to pay Cashrewards and you…. The admin cost for this, and their crappy IT systems simply can't allow this. You don't get paid for some other reasons, not because you used unlisted code.

  • Can someone clarify is this for first cashrewards Woolworths purchase or with new Woolworths account? TIA

    • same question here, i had a woolowrth reward account for years, but haven't made any purchases

  • dumb question, this is WW online only isn't it?

  • -1

Can I use the code listed here and will still get cashback?

    • So ask yourself this, why would tightarse include a coupon code in this deal to prevent people getting the cashback paid?

      • I was just confused after reading this

Further, using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards may invalidate your cashback.

But then I looked at cashrewards website and the code was there. Thanks for your reply though.

  • Hi TA, I couldn't get the rewards in my account during recent month. The funds should b cleared by 30th of September. Any help is appreciated
    Cheers

  • If I've bought a woolworth's gift card before, but I haven't actually bought any groceries, am I disqualified from the $32 cashback?

  • Just trying it now to get the 5% discount and free delivery and it says "Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon promotion."

edit ugh…new online orders only for that also. Can't remember when I've ever done a WW online order. :(

    • I get the same and I only just signed up without ever having done an order before.

        • How bizarre. I'll have another go later on and see what happens :)

        • Just tested it again - it doesn't seem to work with alcohol but I tried with other random stuff (e.g. sunscreen) and it worked on the entire basket.

Is this a special condition or an error?

  • what do you guys buy to get to $120?
I assume netflix giftcards and the likes cannot be bought online?

    • actually, does it mean if i want to get the amex $20 cashback, that my total purchase needs to be $132? (due to $32 cashback)?
or even more if I want to use the 5% ww disc?

      • +4

I reckon that the $32 is paid by CR into your account.

You need to spend $127 and with the 5% off code, bringing it down to $120.65 and be qualified for the CR cashback and Amex credit.

        Am I right TA?

  • +1

So by combining Cashrewards cashback of $ 32 and Amex promo of $ 20 credit statement, the net amount paid for $ 120 worth of groceries is $ 68??? Is this correct?

    • +3

$120 if possible should be all half price items
So really $240 worth for $68

      • +2

If you're using that logic, you should use Aldi prices to set the total "worth".

        • +1

          Stop it.
You are ruining my feel good retail therapy

    • Like @gm3stevens above mentioned, you need to spend $127 worth of groceries, put in the 5% off code and bring it down to $120.65 to qualify. That means you only pay $68.65 for $127 worth of groceries.

  • +1

Is it a new woolworths account or a new cashback rewards account?? I have never bought on wollies online, but would I still get it even though my account is an oldie?

  • +10

So if you have an AMEX the best deal is to:
    1. click thru CashRewards to be eligible for 32$ cashback.
    2. spend $127 on your shopping, then at checkout use code AA1017H for 5% discount and Free Delivery.
    3. Pay with Amex for $20 cashback

    So $127 spend = $120.65 at checkout = $68.65 after AMEX & CR cashbacks.

Can a CashRewards rep confirm that this will work, and that the 32$ cashback works alongside the 5% discount & free postage?

But you must use a new Woolies Online account right? Easy to create with alternate email I guess, but do they cross-check other details like DOB, address, phone etc?

      • A guy posted here a few months ago about creating dozens of new accounts and getting his groceries delivered to the same address, and eventually getting banned. So I think (but don't know) that creating a one-off new account with similar details wouldn't be a problem (just change your name and email to be safe).

        • Didn't that guy create like a hundred account or something?? I mean creating a dozen isn't too far stretched, if you had a big house and lots of people living in it…

        • @abetastic: Yeah he had made a ridiculous number of accounts, but he is good proof that it's easy enough to get away with making 2 or 3 accounts for the same delivery address.

        • how many accounts did that guy create? never knew you could get banned from creating multiple accounts.

  • can i still get woolworths rewards points for this if I create a new account?
edit: on my existing woolworths rewards number i mean

  • Went to buy 18 x 4 pack monsters and says I can't get them due to my delivery location.. I am 500m from a new Woolworths. Well played WoW…

edit: White monsters currently on special and thought it would be a good way to stockpile. Stack with CR + Amex Plat Edge etc

    • +2

Just rolling Monster cans for breakfast, lunch & tea?

      • +2

        the guy is a monster!

        • The wife and I mate - 1 a day. IIFYM for the win!

        • @hummel: Lol. And all calories are made the same right? :P

        • @dazzywazzy:

Hey it works for us :) Been there done that on bro diets.

  • does this work with any amex card? can anyone recommend me which one to get that is free?

    • Maybe look at getting a basic qantas or velocity card. Both free last i checked.

      • yeah i just checked salary above $35,000. I'm close to that but under. Not sure if it will pass.

  • Can please someone guide me if I can add Kirin onto my shopping list? It says it cannot be delivered.

  • Great deal, stocked up on nappies that were already on sale. best part is they are delivered; I find the large nappy boxes are cumbersome when you have a full trolley.

  • Is the $20 amex cashback with spend at Woolworths definitely counted if you redeem 5% gift card at everydaygiftcards?

    • nop

  • Plus enter code PICKONLINE for a chance to win $1000 worth of groceries every day in October.

    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/page/win-groceries-every-…

    • Code won't work if AA1017H is already applied.

  • +1

I wish they would look after their regular customers with a reasonable discount (which would also stop people trying to create multiple "new" accounts).

  • Some feedback on your Chrome Toolbar:
I like the idea but ended up turning it off as it affected a couple of webpages & made them unusable (Accor in particular).
This could probably be solved by allowing the pop-up to be manually turned off once you have seen it.

  • I'm getting an error when trying to use AA1017H code with a total basket of $127…

Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon promotion.

Anyone know why this may be?

    • Are you using a new customer account?

      • +1

        Yeah new account!

Only thing I can think of is that I didn't enter EDR card, as I don't have.

Could it be that this code only works with an EDR card, like previous code deals posted up here?

        • +1

Have you got booze in that order? That code doesn't work with liquor.

        • @shaybisc: Thank you, that's my answer!

Although I had a look at the t&c's but didn't see anything about booze. Just tabacco and gift cards… Maybe I missed it.

  • So I will be eligible for the $32 cashback if I buy $130 worth of wish cards? I won't need to use the coupon code if I do this since they are already discounted right? Or would I get another 5℅ off?

  • Struggling to find enough stuff to buy :(

    • you can always get a bottle of whiskey

  • So new customer as in new in online shopping or newly created account? I have never shopped Woolies online so not sure if this is counted as "new customer" definition.

  • +5

Next WoW annual report: Profits plummeting, but why, we have so many new customers!

  • Could you use Amex through cashrewards to get gift cards at a 5% discount and get the $20 cashback THEN use the gift cards through cash rewards to get the $32 discount AND the 5% discount and free delivery?

    • As I just realised, gift cards are on a separate website so I don't think Amex will register the purchase.

  • CashRewards are making a big buck on interest or TA going on extended leave after all the hardwork?

Estimated approval for cashback: Jan 2017

  • Has anyone used this yet? I want to give this a go but just want to know when should we expect the $32 cashback from cashrewards? I have used heaps of money on Amex with similar earlier deals so I know they would give me the $20 within a week, if not earlier.

Cashrewards is notoriously slow in approving rewards (so far all of my purchases have taken 2-3 months to get approved). If anyone knows if this cashback is different then their rewards and we can get it earlier, please let me know.

    • this cashback is SLOOOOOWWWWWEEERRR than their usual rewards. (in my experience)

  • Has anyones rewards shown up yet?

  • Spent $127 but I just got a refund of $24 from woolworths because 4 of my items were out of stock.

Does this mean I won't get the $32 cash back?

It's currently pending in my cashrewards account(it was processed before the refund).

    • I spent $180 and no rewards showing up…. and it was all food, no booze

    • Have the same question as well and would appreciate an answer. They have everything I ordered but short of 1 box of diapers!

    • Same here, just got the refund email so my total spend doesn't meet the criteria even though it's been tracked and pending.
      @tightarse ?

  • Just got the 'Pending' note….. Estimated Approval 11 Jan 2017….. WTF !!!!!!

  • Would the cash back track if I put all my items in my basket then log in on a different browser through cash rewards to make the transaction?

    • +1

Yes, that's how I did it and it worked for me.

  • Anyone in Sydney able to buy those Sistema 90L storage bins?

  • I asked CashRewards about the 11 Jan 2017 date and they said its the store thats setting that date not them….Quite bizarre

  • Grrr…
So I just got an email to say one of my items is out of stock and is being refunded. Which means I no longer will qualify for the $32 cashback >:((

    • Same here… so I just cancelled the whole order.

      • I would have liked to except it's due to arrive any moment now.

        • I called up during the delivery window, and cancelled it.

Will reorder with some other items, it is their issue for not checking stock level when checking out.

        • @victorheaven: Thanks, I just called an cancelled. I don't normally shop at Woolies and definitely would not have ordered without this discount. Also, if you're going to place a new order later, I would create a new account otherwise you're probably not going to qualify as a "new" customer even though you've cancelled this one.

  • +1

Usually with AmexAmex, you get an email the moment you spend money on a saved offer. I have not received my email yet for the Woolworth spend, anyone else experiencing this?

  • Just got my $32 cashback from cashrewards, still waiting for the AMEX cashback!

  • I just called them to cancel in the delivery window, they couldn't get through to the driver, however, the gentleman I spoke to said that they get this kind of query often and I WILL get all cashback based on my original order value. I guess it's anybody's guess whether that holds true but I decided to take the chance simply because I can't be bothered stuffing around anymore.

My original order was $121 after the discount code and I was refunded $19 for out of stock items.

  • Just got Woolworths order delivered and something was out of stock. Will get refund but the total amount is no enough for both Amex and cashback. Really unhappy if I cannot get cashback.

  • Same here, some times was out of stock, got credit and the total amount won't be above $120, but the strange thing is…the out of stock items is full of stock in my nearby store…Won't trust them anymore if I didn't receive the credit.

  • I placed a Order at 8:54AM today, but the cashback is showing $20 instead of $32 in CashRewards account

    • With 1 minute to spare? I just hope you're hiking.

  • gggrrrr got my order this morning and the Golden Gaytimes were missing in the delivery…… bastards !!!!!

  • Edit: Looks like cashrewards credit is landing for people. AMEX hasn't, has anyone received anything from their end? strange as I usually get an email within a few hours of making an eligible purchase…

  • Amex credit still not received
