      And it's not even new. But i wouldn't even pay this for a new one either. My TV needs HDMI which the PS2 doesn't do.

    Where's the bargain? $64 for a 12 year old console?
    I bought my fat PS2 from Gumtree for $40 5 years ago. now it can be had for as little as $30

    How the hell is this a bargain? Could easily be gotten on Gumtree for a fraction of the price. And even in way better condition. Usually the term "preowned" at EB Games it usually means literally on its last limb

    This is not directed to the OP but the store who sells it.

    Purchased a PS2 Slim in as new condition for $25 off of Gumtree last year. EB Games are dreaming, probably the most common retro console.

    To be fair this would come with like an year warranty from EB so if you want peace of mind, better than buying off gumtree or ebay. And lots of great titles for ps2 so could work for some.

      Yeah it's a second hand item (preowned), they don't come with a 1 year warranty nor would you expect it to.

    Just took a look in Gumtree and most PS2s are cheaper and come with games and accessories. No deal.

      I thought kids these days would all be expecting a PS4. Imagine the eyes on the kids when they find out they got a used 12 year old gaming console.

    To be fair I think there are a lot of bargains that are cheaper on gumtree. $64 is a bit of a rip off though.

      I remember owning a Megadrive in the early 90's. Bought it brand new from my catalogue delivery paychecks!. Was a great gaming console at the time.

      Speaking of that. They're re-releasing the Megadrive and due for release in November.

        Not sure about the new console though. So many games they could've added. No wonder people are using emulators with every game made.

    29 bucks at literally EVERY Cash Converters I've been to since 2010. My mate picked one up for 39 a few months back, and I thought he got ripped.
