Good price, factoring the express shipping. My last 20,000 from Mushtato took an extremely long time to arrive.
For same price and "express" freight….. This is the better deal

    • auspost increased their delivery times for anything not at their premium express post rate now

you can blame them not the retailers

  • +3

I have the 10000 and it's great. I use it every day

  • +1

Just ordered one for $48.95. Shipping was extremely fast, and item arrived in great condition.

    • -1

It was only posted like 50 minutes ago, you ordered and it got delivered? That some fast process/shipping :)

      • Its a different price, so no he didnt order from this post but previously. His order was approx $4 more expensive.

  • Great deal for the 10000mAh, but GearDo really should get some encryption on their site!

    • I just used paypal option so it went via paypal and didn't require me to input my details directly into geardo's website

  • I have ordered a 20,000 one.
I have not received a confirmation email yet. Should this take long?

    • Got it now. Was too impatient.

  • Is the 10,000 mAh one slim style?

    • Nope, this is the slim one, which has Type-C and Quick Charge, still an awesome price and the deal is still on! :)

      • Do the type-c ones still have the other USB plugs included or just Type-C? Just curious as I don't have any type-C devices and wondered about backwards compatibility.

        • It comes with a Micro USB cable and Type-C adapter according to the previous post. Enjoy :)

        • +1

The type C is for charging the power bank itself…you can't charge a device from the type C connection, has to be from the other standard USB connection provided. So to charge a Type C device you have to use an adapter from micro USB to type C (provided).

Bit of a shame for a user of type C devices, as the benefit is really only the slim form factor, still need to carry multiple cables around : (

There is a new slim 10000mAh coming out soon. Xiaomi announced it days ago.

      • Was there any significant changes, I couldn't find anything after doing a quick search?

        • +3

          http://www.mi.com/battery/

Quick Charge support for input and output.

        • +1

          @Clear:

Type C input and output too, and it comes with a micro usb / type-c combo cable, and a protective cover.

        • +1

@futaris: Correcting everything they did wrong with the 10000mAh Pro I suppose.

      • Link?

Can vouch for this seller. Got my Pro within 3 days to Perth. Working like a charm.

    Op ordered one 20000 thanks

  • 7 hrs to charge the 20000??

The 20k I no ght recently from Mushtato arrived Sat morning when i picked up from post office last weekend.
Was on charge from Sat morning to Monday afternoon, and barely got from the second light. This was using the Genuine LG G4 charger as supplied with my phone.
Contacted them and they said the charger was "not standard".

If this seriously charges in 7 hrs then I have a faulty product. Even though Mushtato said it's my charger, not the power bank.

    • +1

I'm pretty sure the charger that comes with the LG G4 does not support Quick Charge, so it will not be able to charge it in 7 hours. Check your charger - it should say 5V/2A (the 2 amps is the standard for Quick Charge 2.0).

    • Have a read of the manual for this Power Bank. It says it should take around 7 hours to charge with a 18W charger, and about 11 hours using a 10W charger. But still, it shouldn't take from Saturday morning to Monday afternoon to charge. Check if your LG charger gives the appropriate Watts, otherwise you may have received a faulty Power Bank..? :)

      • Not sure on wattage…..it says it's a 1.8ah charger.
(Apparently 24-26 hrs to charge it using a 2ah charger, and about 60 hrs using a 1ah charger)
Apparently the 1.8 isn't considered standard so it won't charge?
But 13 hrs for quick charge is normal???

        It's confusing….

        • Watts (Power) = Volts x Amps

          So your charger gives 5V x 1.8A = 9 Watts, yep so not enough I guess…

  • Which is the better form factor, the shorter fatter shape like this or the longer thinner shape of the other one?

  • The Micro USB to Lightning adapters that Mushtato add on are pretty cool - does Geardo stock them as well? Did a search but couldn't find them

  • Hey rep any chance on the 5000 slim?

  • HI, whats the type C all about..?
I have Samsung NOte 5- which does have the quick charge functionality… do I need a type C?

Im not sure about the Type C and whats it all about and which one is best for me…

    Cheers

    • Type C is for new flagship like RIP Note 7, Google Pixel, etc you don't need a type C

      • thanks…
Quick charge I presume on both the 10000 and 20000?
Cant figure out if there is any difference between the two other than the capacity…

  • I guess I should buy one of these. Got one from BangGood back in April which has had it now (all 4 lights just flash during charging but it doesn't hold any charge). Only did about 6 charge cycles with it I reckon. Postage back to China for warranty is like $14 with Aus Post if I can even convince them to ship a lithium battery so probably just faster and about the same price to buy a new one.

Have others had their Power Bank just die like that? What's the rough number of recharges these'll normally do?

    • +1

I had an issue with the older 10400mah model - not sure if it's similar to your issue.

My power bank was fully charged with 4 lights flashing, but just wouldn't charge my phone. Turns out it was one of the terminals from the usb socket to the circuit board that had snapped/fractured. Apparently this is quite common and there are a few youtube videos that show you how to fix this. Fixing requires you to disassemble the powerbank and re-solder the joint.

      • Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately doesn't appear to be the case with mine. It doesn't report as fully charged, only 2 bars/lights. I took it apart and couldn't see any obvious breaks in the terminals (and it would have to be obvious because I have no clue with this stuff). I'm just going to grab one of the models from this deal instead of risking sending it back.

        • +1

I got the same from the last Mushtato deal. I queried with them, they said was my charger, and I can send it back to them for checking and if they deal it doesn't have a fault, they will charge me for the inspection. Inspection is more expensive than buying a new one.
This was on the 20,000ah model.

My Xiaomi 16000mAh power bank won't charge after 12 months, so won't buy another one in the near future.

I have the 5,000 version of this…. so im confident that the 10,000 version will be great. just ordered one

Great deal. Just ordered one. Thanks OP

  • Advantage of the Iphone…was able to grab a couple of these tens and save $42, thanks OP.

    • +1

Arrived next day and all good, thanks.

  • Amazing.. Had it delivered the next day.

    • you joined the board only today

      • I fail to see how that's relevant?

        • a common practice to create fresh accounts and put reviews saying that the deal worked

  • Does anyone know if there's a new 20,000mAh version coming out anytime soon? I need a powerbank in about a months time and I'm not sure if I should wait or not…

Nice, I got my cover for $1.60 from eBay, came in about 2 weeks :)

Plus if anyone wants a case for the 10K one, you can get it for $1.45 as well, perhaps not original, but it comes with a Mi logo branding so no one would notice :)

  • wow deleivered very quickly, initially I was pissed they never sent out a tracking URL

disapointed with Geardo - received my Xiaomi 10000 pro battery today & immediately discovered the Xiaomi usb-micro to usb-c adapter was broken out of the box. Their response was "not covered by warranty, feel free to go buy another from ebay"! Concerned about what kind of response will get if the powerbank develops a problem too… :(

    • +1

Hey iamcerberus, could you please let us know the ticket reference number for this issue? I would like to have a look at this and help you out!

      • Have been conversing via email under my order number - was not assigned a ticket reference number.
Geardo support have changed their position and 'AJ' has kindly offered a 2m USB-C cable as a replacement for the adapter. So at this time it appears to have been resolved, thanks for chasing my issue!

Just came to vouch for GearDo. got my bank delivered to southern sydney in under 24hours from when i placed my order.

  • I bought it assuming it would quickcharge my SamsungS7, but it doesn't.
Anyone know any powerbanks which would? On my adapter is says 9.0v-1.67A or 5.0v-2A

  • Can anyone comment on how the box looks?
I want to get one as a gift, but I am worried as with a lot of things from china, the box comes all smashed up and looks used.

    • +1

Can anyone comment on how the box looks?

I am assuming you mean the packaging of the Power Banks..? I have ordered multiple times from GearDo and the packaging has always been in mint condition :) Also these are being shipped locally. Here is an example of the 10K one I got delivered recently

  • Everyone saying they got theirs so quick….I ordered mine on the 18th with "express shipping" and have not yet received anything :/

    • I didn't choose Express and got a fast delivery.

  • +1

Got my 20000mah pack very quickly - no complaints there.

Today however I was charging it and a huge spark + bang came out of the micro-usb charging port, along with a burning smell.
    Emailed geardo and they said:

    "Hi,
That sounds not familiar. We soled hundreds of these items and this is the first one we have this issue.
seems like you have a issue with your charger or the house power outlet.
we cannot claim warranty for that issues.
    thank you"

I said "Fine by me - I'll go to the ACCC." and now they are "forwarding to management" and may help out.

I'm really not hopeful after that apathetic initial response.

    • Sounds rubbish!
Hopefully nothing happens like that to mine.
I got 1 and they sent me too, sent an email back saying you accidentally sent me too, they said they'd send out a prepaid envelope and they haven't sent anything 2 weeks later. Looks like they don't want it back too bad.
