true! Christmas is sorted I guess!

  • Thanks OP,

Bought some delivered and some click and collect in case

  • Been waiting for one of these to come up for a while. Pressure cookers are great and I was going to blow a hundred bucks on one sooner or later if nothing good came up. Thanks OP!

  • And it's out of stock…

    • +1

Yeah, there was 72 when I posted it, so they sold very quickly.

      • I didn't realise there were so few…

They may well have market them down even further just to get rid of the last of them…

    • +26

      And it's out of stock…

      Just make your own…

Some onions, carrots, celery and you're there…

  • +1

Darn, all gone. Gotta be quick around here!

  • +3

Damn it! Why was I watching US election-related videos on YouTube for almost two hours for? Bloody OzBargainers! lol

    • +1

      Trump or Hillary?

      • +4

Neither. Was watching those newly posted videos about DNC's alleged vote-rigging tactics on YouTube and then spent for ages watching other videos re American politics that don't affect my life in any way. FML! lol

  • grrrr, I really want a pressure cooker….bumma

  • Mad Man Moe's Pressure Cooker!

  • Do you think the store will honour their online price?

    • Let us know how you go.

    • In store, price is the same. I already checked this morning.

      • +2

It was ticketed at 20$ in store and I managed to buy two. I got there early though and it seems like all the ticketed mark downs have been removed after 9am. If anyone has any luck from 10am onwards, congratulations to you and please update us :) also, thank you very much to the OP for reporting this terrific find!

  • +4

    Hi All.
I bought one in store just now and it is $20!!!
    I am in Sydney.

  • Can these be used as a rice cooker?

    • +1

Yes, and soups, risotto, pasta, yoghurt, cakes and curries.

      • +2

Oh sweet. I have a rice cooker but the rice tends to stick to the bottom of it. (even though I wash the rice first?). For $20 this one might be worth a shot.

        • Don't take out the rice from vessel immediately. Let it sit for some time. Then it won't stick to the bottom.

        • @haiprazzad: Yeah tried that. :) It usually gets an extra 10 minutes or so after it switches to 'warming' mode.

  • +1

If anyone really wanted one but missed out, Aldi still have heaps from the other week, they were down to $40 on the weekend and good chance they will go down to $30 this weekend to get rid of the big pile of bulky things.

    • Is it the same brand?

      • +1

It's almost never the same brand, but why that would matter in this case I don't know. Bellini isn't exactly a 'brand'

        • Haha good point. I bought one of these pressure cookers previously from Target, and know its quality. The Aldi one may be better but I dont know enough about it.

  • +2

people.. it is back in stock! just bought 1

    • Still oos in Melbourne. How did you do it?

      • I have 2 in my basket at the moment , but they have changed the price to $59 .

      • i just happened to check it on my phone at 8.45 and it was showing as $20- i checkout without any problems (foresthill VIC pickup). They probably bumped up the prices after that. It is now $59. I am assuming the instructions were to have $20 off and the IT genius put the selling price at $20!!

  • $59 the current price:(

  • Expires 9AM - Checks time.. 6.20AM. Oh.. Eastern time. Right. Well damn.
    Close, but no cigar.

  • bought one thanks. few more available in airport west, vic

    • it checked out $20 at the counter 8:30 ish am today. no issues.

  • +3

I was able to buy two at a physical ticketed price of 20$ but it scans at 59$ and the old lady at the counter made such a big hoo ha about it.. She was very mean but eventually sold them to me after a bit of negotiating. I said the error isn't my fault! It's the ticketed price! This was at about 9ish.. Drove over to a different target but prices are 59$ here. Perhaps if you have some luck you might get to a store where the pressure cooker hasnt been purchased yet and the store hasn't changed the prices.

  • +2

Called them up at 8am and confirmed the price was $20 thus i asked to hold 2 for me, got there past 9am and grabbed another one before going to layby section to collect the other 2.however they were acanning at $59 already. so told the guy that I was told $20 on the phone, after checking with the person I spoken with they override the price for me.bargain!

  • +3

    $59 isn't a terrible price for a pressure cooker…but I don't feel right buying one after missing that wonderful $20 price-error deal.

    • Someone mention Ned getting a similar one from Aldi for 40 odd

  • Great cookers, large pot. I grabbed one last deal, cooked a 15 minute risotto in it last night. Awesome time savers.

    • Yep, risotto is one of those surprises out of these sorta units :)

  • I missed out getting one. Long shot but if anyone who bought extra or doesn't want it anymore, I would like to buy one. Thank you!

    • +2

Check eBay. Back in stock. Just bought one.

      • It's showing no stocks for me.

        • +2

  • One way trip

  • Anyone in Brisbane area bought an extra?

  • OP rules.

  • Missed out. Target was $59 and Aldi didn't have any at any price. :(

  • +1

        • +1

OMG Did you miss out again ?Keep checking the Target ebay link you never know cos Target online have a habit of stock being unavailable one minute & available the next so maybe target ebay might be the same.

  • Fountain Gate shelf price $79. Must have removed the discount price tag.

    • Yeah my local shop said $79 but it scans at $59, I didn't bother buying it but would have for $20. :)

  • +2

My order is ready for collection

  • WTF - Im a bad OzBarger. I paid $79 for this exactly two weeks ago.

Anyway I can go back and get them to refund the difference seeing it was only 14 days ago?

    • Dont know if Target will. But some Credit Cards have this price insurance feature.

      • I checked that. I used my ANZ Amex Freq Flyer Black. They have price difference refund but it needs to between $75 and $300 difference.

    • +2

At least buy one for $59 they're still available online & instore & return that one with the $79 receipt from the one you bought 2 weeks ago , $20 is better than nothing .

  • +7

I called them at Chadstone and asked to check the price which came up as $20. I asked them to put 3 (thats all they had this morning) on hold. When I went there they said that there was a price scanning error and it is $59. So, I was like its not my fault. I have come here to collect them after confirming the price. They ultimately honored the price and I got 3 for $60!!!

    • +8

      you absolute maniac

    • +1

Presumably you bought everything that was available in Chadstone then?

      • +1

I managed to get one at $20 in store! eBay store is back at $20 but it out of stock, so I just tried my luck in store and they price matched :) really happy with the luck!
