      Pretty sure they are the same camera aren't they? Xiaomi seems to do next to no work with their camera optimisations anyway

      I have this device - the camera is average compared to other OEMs but relative to the price I think it's good.

      Unfortunately there aren't a whole lot of big phones that have a great camera in the phablet category imo.

    i bit the bullet and bought one, paid a little extra for DHL shipping. I've had nothing but trouble from Gearbest in the past so hopefully they've improved in the 18 or so months since I last used them.

        i paid, 24 hours later they told me it would be an extra $30 for DHL, which i agreed to instantly (despite feeling like I was being conned), it then took them 24 hours to send me an invoice for the extra cost, which i also paid instantly and now it's 3 days since i originally placed my order and it still hasn't been sent.

        if my LGG4 wasn't stuck in a bootloop i'd have probably cancelled this one.

      Purchased on 22/10. Website said expected dispatch Oct 25-57. Received email today from GB saying packaged dispatched today Oct 26. So far everything on track. Will now see how DHL expedited shipping goes. (Email says expect 2-7 days)

    Just got this phone. My honest feedback.

    Works with Telstra 4G No issues, very fast D/L 4G lte speeds. No Band 28 Means it will just default to HSDPA which is still fast and no issues on Telstra. That's it. IMO The only phone that could beat this phone is Mi Mix.

    VS HTC M9 (Previous Phone)
    Mi max has better screen, Software, battery, Bluetooth range and audio quality, Ease of use and better software out of the box.
    JAWDROPPING fast unlock with fingerprint reader and amazing Infared remote.

    Lacks very slightly in camera quality and missing the HTC sound dual speakers.
    Can I deal with that Yes and Yes.

    Gearbest shipped The original phone no mods. Passed Antutu test for original Xiaomi and updated seamlessly over the air to Miui 8.
    Must is DHL and Insurance.

    The EU To AU adapter provided is laughable but does the job, spend a few bucks on a quality adapter. EU to AU plug $10 at Kmart will do.

    Overall I feel like the king using this phone and my girlfriend is now about to buy the phone as well.

    Love it.
