LinkedIn Week of Learning 24/10 to 31/10 - 5000+ Courses for FREE

210

Received following message from LinkedIn CEO.
5000+ courses absolutely free between 24/10 and 30/10. Good for those who want to take a break from stacking up Udemy courses.

Almost 25 years ago, I began my career with the long-term aspiration to help improve our education system. Since joining LinkedIn, that passion has only grown stronger.

That's one of many reasons I'm excited to announce the Week of Learning.

From October 24-30, you'll be able to access over 5,000 courses on LinkedIn Learning, and it's all completely free (no fine print, no catches, and no credit card required).

If you're wondering why, look no further than our vision: To create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. That's what we're working towards every day, and our newly introduced LinkedIn Learning platform has been developed to further realize that vision.

Given the rapidly accelerating rate of innovation in the world, it's increasingly important for all of us to take advantage of learning experiences that can better prepare us for the career opportunities that are and will be, and not just those that once were.

Now is a great time to start.

Was about to say it looks like Udemy, well probably is - https://www.linkedin.com/company/udemy

  • Doesn't look like you can stack the course. No "Get course" button whatsoever.

Not sure about. I SAVED few courses in my account. Will see after 30/10 :-)

Save just looks like a bookmark/favourite as far as I can tell. I don't expect we will have access to these courses after this free week is over.

        • How to contact them and confirm about what will happen after 30/10, I did saved many of them but cant do all at once.

          @sajju:

Even their FAQ says "Save" is just a bookmark feature.

LinkedIn training is a monthly subscription and you can't purchase individual courses as far as I know. That means you can view everything free for this week, but afterwards you can't, it doesn't matter what you saved.

It's really just a promotion, they can bang on about their "Vision", but it's just a marketing ploy. If they really believed in the vision it would be free for at least a month, in my opinion.

        • @Sheez: Thank you, i will record some of them and learn it later :)

The coding ones I've had a look at so far are extremely basic.

  • It's like a free 3 day gym membership. You know they are hoping to get more from it then you will.

Well that's wonderful but he chose a pretty dumb way to do it since the evidence is showing MOOCs don't help many people.
