    I looked at a couple of the products' ingredients and I can't see the appeal. There's not even any protein added. I like to make my own shakes with water, milk powder, silverbeet, kale, cocoa, frozen strawberries, chia seeds, linseed, sweetener, and maybe some oat bran. Obviously more work than buying the advertised product, but if you always have the ingredients on-hand then it's no big deal to chuck 'em in a blender.

    • Why don't you just use skim milk ?

      • I mainly buy powdered skim milk. The only time I use liquid milk is for making yoghurt (UHT full cream).
