    Just in case, a message for novices - chess has the potential to be a very deep and complex game, artificial opponents need to be very well designed to provide an authentic game experience. If they're not you can get away with some very weak moves and your opposite will play some howlers in return. A poorly designed "Free" offer may end up as a timewaster, nothing more. Note this is a general comment and not pointed at any game/poster here.

    If you're looking to play face to face as well as with a machine the poorer electronic games will result in you having false expectations of your playing level and perhaps an unhappy experience.
