HOW TO ENTER

To be eligible for entry, customers must fully complete The Good Guys Online Survey using the link provided in the survey email between Friday 30th September 2016 and Monday 2nd January 2017 inclusive (“Promotion Period”).

As a reward for completing the survey, customers will automatically qualify to go into a draw to receive 1 x $200 The Good Guys eftpos Card which can be used at any major Australian retailer. The draw will be conducted by a random number generation and the winner selected using www.random.org from all eligible entries received.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Instructions on How To Enter and the offer form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents 18 years or over.

3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, the participating outlet, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to participate. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. In particular, the Promoter and participating The Good Guys retailers may require consumers to provide identification at the time of purchase or at any time while processing entries or delivering entitlements. Identification considered suitable will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

5. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

6. Only one entry per person is permitted.

7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require reasonable proof of the identity of the entrant.

8. Promotion commences Friday 30th September 2016 and ends 11.59pm (AEST) Monday 2nd January 2017 and is not applicable in New Zealand.
   The winner of 1 x $200 The Good Guys Pay Less eftpos Card will be drawn by random number generation using www.random.org from all eligible entries received prior to the draw by The Good Guys at 2pm (AEST) on Thursday 20th October, 10th November, 8th December 2016 and 5th January 2017 at the offices of The Good Guys, 15 Vaughan Street, Essendon Fields VIC 3041. The winner will be notified by email to the email supplied by the entrant on the The Good Guys Online Survey within 7 days of the draw. Winners are required to formally claim their Gift Card prize within 21 days of being contacted. The winner is required to provide their first and last name and a valid postal address when claiming The Pay Less eftpos Card. The eftpos Card will be sent to the winner via post (allow up to 4 weeks for eftpos Card to be received). The winner’s last name, first initial and postcode will published on The Good Guys website within 5 business days of the winner claiming their prize and will be displayed on the website for a minimum of 28 days.

9. If the prize is not claimed within 21 days of the draw the prize will lapse.

10. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. Treat eftpos Cards (“Card”) like cash. Defaced mutilated, altered, lost or stolen Cards will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. Cards are: Redeemable for merchandise or services at the relevant retailers.The card must be redeemed before the specified expiry date and it is up to the claimant to use the full value of the PAY LESS Payback Card before the expiry date. Any card that hasn’t been activated within 1 month from the date printed on the letter received with the card cannot be extended, refunded or credited. Any unused balance for activated cards will not be refunded or credited. If the PAY LESS Payback Card is lost or stolen, phone 1800 850 821 to cancel your card and have it reissued (charges apply). 12. Once the nominated Pay Less eftpos Cards have been posted from the Promoter’s premises to the winner’s address, the Promoter takes no responsibility for damage, delay or loss in transit.

13. If the nominated Pay Less eftpos Cards are unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute an alternative entitlement to an equal value and/or specification.

14. Cards are subject to the terms and conditions applied by relevant retailers and unused credit on a Card, may not be transferable, exchangeable or taken as cash.

15. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.

16. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any Card or entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in offer value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by an entrant; or (f) use of any entitlement or participation in the Promotion.

17. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, offer suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
