Nah I have this clock, I think it's pretty standard. It's also a reddish orange colour so it's not so bad in the dark.
The radio/magnet shielding is really bad on this thing, pick up signal when your phone connects with the tower.

Great price. Bought this for my daughter a couple of years ago.
She is happy with it.Just watch out on these ones. I brought 2 and returned both as they had a horrible buzz to them. Not good when they are on your bedside table
I have two for about a year now and don't have that problem. YMMV.
Mine buzzed too! Every morning around six it would make this horrible buzzing noise and wake me up - I should have returned it.
I think it's the radio. I pulled off the antenna wire.
I put mine away unplugged as the buzz was quite disturbing. Both its alarm and radio were disabled yet it still buzzed sporadically.
Was is buzzing straight out of the box or did it develop over time?
Would be good if it was making noise in unopened box… nah, it started the buzzing after abt 3 months of use. Unusual for such a top brand product.

Radio makes a 'ssshhhhh' sound, even when off.
What colour are the numbers? I will buy only if it is green or blue, I hate red, they are not good for your eyes and white is too bright in the bedroom.

Woolworths Darra (Monier) had these in stock. Picked up a Verbatim 5200MaH portable charger for $10. Had a bunch of Kodak and Moshi ones as well.
Saw one at Woolworths today, the last one $15+. I was about to buy it, but finally did not because it has only 12hr format and not 24hr format. I am used to 24hr format and it is better for alarm.
Love this clock for its design but be warned, the screen LED is really bright and although dimmable can be annoying for some depending on its location
