I cannot imagine OzBargainers spending that much on candles even if they were handmade by mermaids who are pure of heart. Mind you, my local Post Office was recently refurbished and now offers $39.95 candles (Made In Australia), but apparently not even one has sold yet. Occasionally Victoria's Basement has Dan Samuels candles for $12 down from $40 (Made In Australia) - the French Pear is magnificent.

I bet who ever was in the purchasing department got a closed door meeting over why they are now stocking $165 candles. Hope they enjoyed their junket that was paid for by the candle company. It might be their last… :D

  Posting them here is futile. Red Cross charity shops have some boxed, fragranced candles for $12, Made In Australia. I may get my wife a Desert Fig one soon.
