Looks a bit dodgy. Who is this company? If I make a call and request mechanical assistance, how long will it take for someone to arrive? Looks like the kind of company who would have a small network of vehicles on the road and would probably have bad customer service.

    • And do they have reciprocal agreements with the major ones interstate…? It's already awful enough with RAA here in regional SA, I can only imagine how much slower they would be if I was with some other party.

    • couldn't agree more. Whose to say that if I went camping 150+ km's outside of metro and my car wouldn't start that they wouldn't simply say 'Sorry, we can't help you'
Absolutely nothing at this point to back them up

Can't find any reviews for this company.. not a lot of confidence in their services

"We operate a 24/7/365 (366 in leap years)"

Impressive. I have both RACV TotalCare and VW Assist but don't believe either of these address whether or not I'm covered on the extra day in leap years.

They are also known as '24/7 Roadservices' located in Newcastle West
Did a little digging and found a not so good review from one of their previous customers

      oh wow, from home…

Usually they say from nearest city.

      • Yeah, that's pretty bad as most people would be 100KM+ from home the minority of the time.

Well, these guys don't offer assistance for cars below 2005 model and usually we don't require assistance that often, when the car is over 2005 model.. Don't see any point..

I put in the notes that I had a 2003 model. I called them and said I was still covered, they were happy to update it.

  • much dodgey

So seems these guys will send out a person to check out your vehicle once. if they don't get it going then they don't help further which is not clear to start with so a bit dodgey. you have to choose upfront if you want it towed or you want them to check it out, you don't get both. The customer service seems pretty rude and op-positional also.

The NRMA is much better than this. Their customer service has been slipping the past couple of years unfortunately because they used to be great but atleast they still come to you quickly and try hard to fix it and if they can't then they tow. price not great but atleast its not as much hassle so I'll stick with NRMA.

I have a current policy running into my second year on my Toyota Avalon 2000 model bought under "24/7 Roadservices" - I have had no issues with them. Made 4 call outs last year due to battery/alternator issues and they all turned up within 45 mins of call out. Changed the battery early this year as well through them.

Have not made any call-out since the start of my second year (end of August). Probably more suitable for people with more reliable cars (due to limited no of call outs) but service-wise it's quite good - the service-person knew what he was doing !! Works OK for me and saving a few bucks compared elsewhere! Hope this helps someone !
