    • Hi Altomic,

      Updated the company in title, the price varies on location.

    Book a group of ten or more players

    Dammit need to go make friends now… -_-

    • "and you as the organiser will receive 300 paintball and a tactical upgrade kit "
      And then you will be superior and shoots all those new friends…

    • Hey if you're paying I'll be your friend! :D

  • Smells like those paintball "deals" at the mall where they claim "buy this then all you have to do is pay for paint" Not really a deal - unless you have people who only want to play 100 paintballs - which isn't very fun.

    Minimum I would say would be 500 paintballs, which you can get it cheaper in a group pack - eg at Appin = $90, not $15 entry + $95 = $110

    Plus most places have organiser deals. Eg at this place 200 free paintballs, and $50 credit off the organisers pack price (fro group size of 9-13, more for bigger groups) http://paintballplace.com.au/index.php/pricing/organisers-in… -

    PLUS this place has a BBQ lunch included in the price which these "deal" places generally don't (the ones I've looked at in the past) - Not associated, just had a good experience there a few years ago, and a bad experience from those mall "deals".

  • Hi Dannyool,

    This is a paintball offer run by Delta Force Paintball, and is limited to offering to group organiser the free 300 paintballs and Tactical Upgrade Kit. It sounds like you've bought tickets from IPG, who sell tickets to paintball sites all over the country.

    Our sites have several group packages that would suit any budget, and you can book these over the phone. See here for Group Packages: http://www.paintballing.com.au/paintball-games-prices

    Delta Force Paintball is known as a paintball provider that offers amazing game zones and incredible customer service, something not every paintball field offers their customers. We have pizza that can be delivered for lunch, and you are allowed to bring your own food to the site as well.

    Paintball is an awesome way to spend a day with friends, and yes, it does cost money. For many people it's something they do a few times a year, so the cost is worth the incredible experience.

    I personally dont see a deal here. Ive played paintball for 8-9 years as part of a sponsored team so I am aware of prices and deals from ALOT of different fields located in Australia. I will only focus on two in NSW but if you want more examples in other states Im happy to send a URL but you will need to do the math!

    First of all, charging for ENTRY & EQUIPMENT HIRE is nonsense. Just absorb the price into the package like most other fields do please.

    Lets compare you to TWO fields in NSW to start with.

    Action paintball - Sentry - 200 paintballs + gear = $39
    - Sniper - 500 paintballs + gear = $59
    - Mercenary - 700 paintballs + gear = $79
    - Commando - 1000 paintballs + gear = $109
    - Terminator - 1500 paintballs + gear = $149
    - Devastator - 2000 rounds + gear = $179
    Bonus for deposited players is about 100 additional paintball per player.
    5ppl= 500 paintballs
    10ppl= 1000 paintballs
    15ppl= 1500 paintballs
    20ppl= 2000 paintballs
    25ppl= 2500 paintballs
    30ppl= 3000 paintballs
    35ppl= 3500 paintballs
    40ppl= 4000 paintballs

    ALL PRICES INCLUDES THE GEAR! http://actionpaintball.com/prices/

    Heartbreak Ridge paintball - Starter - 400 paintballs + gear = $70 (Included $3 deposit)
    - Terminator - 1000 paintballs + gear + Food = $110 (Included $3 deposit)
    - Rambo - 1600 paintballs + gear + Food = $160(Included $3 deposit)

    Bonus for deposited players is about 100 additional paintball per player.

    5-10ppl = 200 paintballs + one free gun upgrade
    11-20ppl = 500 paintballs + one free gun upgrade
    21-30 = 1000 paintballs + two free gun upgrades
    31-40 = 2000 paintballs + three free gun upgrades
    41+ 3000 paintballs + four free gun upgrades

    ALL PRICES INCLUDES THE GEAR! http://www.paintball.net.au/prices-packages.html

    Keep in mind that these fields are willing to throw in extra upgrades or bonus items if you ask politely and dont get to greedy! I know for a fact both these fields owners and workers will upgrade the organizer regardless the moment your group is at least 10.

    Now I have been to your field and the game play was good but your on OZbargain and I feel you guys can do ALOT better if your planning on posting on here.

  • Hi Siggy213,

    If a group purchases a group pack, their entry and equipment hire is included in the cost. Many of our players are new to paintball, and have never considered playing before, so spreading the word is what we're all about at Delta Force Paintball, hence being on a site such as OZbargain.

    Our sites are different from many others due to our World-Class Game Zones, which include props such as a full size black hawk helicopter and 30ft pyramid. Many smaller fields cannot offer the quality game zones that we can at Delta Force Paintball.

    Thanks for sharing some valuable information about paintball across NSW, and thanks for playing with us!

    The Delta Force Team

    • Action have 18 fields in NSW alone last I checked. And their WA field is larger. They may not have a blackhawk but they make up for it with value and amount of upgrades available.

      I guess what im saying is when it comes down to it, your packages are more expensive then Action for example and the only deal your offering is organiser bonus which is still under the amount of what other fields offer (500 rounds at action).

      Action averages about 100 paintballs per person in bonuses and your offering 300 + a tac upgrade. Even with a group of 10, Action still will give a gun upgrade to the organiser regardless.

      I organise beginner groups every quarter of the year with group sizes of 40-50+ people to introduce them to the sport so to me I feel a beginner would want more ammo as they seem to waste it quickly in all the excitment.

      Concidering the fact a box of 2000 rounds on the retail market goes between $60-100 depending on the paint and Deltaforce buys it by the pallet, you guys are possibly paying about 30-40 a box of 2000 rounds.

      All being said above, this is Ozbargain and I feel you need to show Value for money now that ive compared you to a basic price point of two fields in NSW. Sure you have a few items on your field that are unique but Heartbreak ridge in Blacktown has a full sized Tank and that doesnt mean a thing to anyone. Paintballs, paintball markers and price matter.

      Give the OzBargain community a deal thats far cheaper then going to these other fields. Again not trying to have a go at Deltaforce, i enjoy your gameplay on the field but this is a Bargain community so show us a major Bargain to bring us through your gates.

  • Hey Siggy213,

    You've got some really great points here, and you're obviously a super keen paintballer. As with most of the bargains on this site, this bargain is particular to our brand.

    After all, a bargain on Connoisseur ice cream isn't a deal if you're only looking for Home Brand.

    Playing at Delta Force Paintball guarantees you are covered by our Full Public Liability Insurance, and are playing at a site with a 100% clean safety record, due to our meticulous safety standards. Delta Force managers, assistant mangers and senior marshals hold current first aid qualifications to ensure our players are kept safe and can have the best day possible.

    Our value for money lies within our incredibly safe playing fields, our amazing customer service and our awesome game zones. Whilst some players may just be after a day to shoot at their friends, a day with Delta Force Paintball is an action packed day that guarantees fun, action, and safety above anything.

    The Delta Force Team

    • Full Public Liability Insurance Is mandatory for all fields.

      Both Action paintball and Heartbreak Ridge have extremely clean records and saftey standards. Infact its rare to hear any field with these issues.

      I know for a fact that a large number Action staff are first aid qualified and best of all most are Pro players so they truely know their stuff . They even have change rooms and hot showers available and can host up to 1000 players in a single day.

      Staff also drive around from field to field with portable Air refill systems so players do not have to go back and refill their tanks if they are low.

      They offer top of the range Tournament grade markers not to mention that they supply and sell professional gear to ALOT of pro players throughout Australia. They also offer a pickup and drop off service for a small fee to the local public transport points for those who are not driving.

      Action are super serious about saftey as they wont even let me bring my own air tanks unless they are checked for a workcover stamp as well as provide them a copy of the rego papers to see where and when it was tested.

      Once again, i enjoy Deltaforce fields and Im not against you in anyway but you mentioned the above items and I must challenge them to get back to the main point… 'Where is the Bargain?' How does it compare to local business competition and what will you do to bring in the Ozbargain community through your front doors?
