CHEER20

I have been eyeing off this quality Ultrabook for awhile and Wireless1 just recently dropped the price on their eBay store to $999 and comes to $799.20 after code applied.

With specs like these, it is a pretty future proofed laptop which would be great for uni students and people who need a solid laptop for everyday tasks.

Intel Core i5-5200U
8GB RAM
128GB M.2 SSD
Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500
13.3" FHD (1920 x 1080) Display
Windows 10
Upto 12 hours battery life
1.2kg in weight
Comes with regular USB ports
Come with original function keys

Bit better than this previous deal too

Kudos to TheClipIt for the great codes

  • Damn that's a fine laptop for a fine price!

One observation - on the eBay product page, the product description says QHD display but the specifications say FHD :S

Personally I prefer a FHD on 13.3 for the battery life. QHD is beautiful and all but it sucks the battery life and point of having a laptop :(

Yeah completely agree, FHD is probably the highest res I'd want on a 13.3" screen. Beyond that things can become a bit difficult to read without changing the text display size.

  • Not trying to do a JV here, but check the quantity available. I'm fairly sure for a post to be valid, there needs to be at least 10 in stock?

    • Seems they just updated it, at time of posting was at quantity of 10 or more available…

      • True. Well, it appears someone has already reported it. Thanks for posting the deal anyway! I'd have been all over this if it had a bigger SSD and i5 6200u.

will an i5 goes for 12 hours?
M core will probably stretch it, 1.3kg is the weight of the M core too

  • Is memory upgradable ?

    • It's soldered on unfortunately.

  • Anyone know where I can get something with similar specs (+ graphics card would be great) as a pre-made desktop or mini desktop for a similar price?

  • I have a similar device but with the core M and QHD. I agree that FHD is probably the better option. Some stuff doesn't scale properly and is hard to read. Very nice device though, only downside is the shiny metal surface is a fingerprint magnet.

  • Thanks op, bought one. One more remaining after my purchase

  • All gone guys :(

    • That was quick, was a great price :)

      • Definitely was! Ozbargained so fast, I almost bought one myself ha! Would of been great for commuting instead of my massive ROG.

          Any chance of a restock?

        • @railspider: Unfortunately not, sorry!

        • @acek47:

Any idea when / if you will be stocking the Asus Transformer 3 Pro?

        • +2

Did you change the listing to have only 4 of them as OP stated they were more than 10 at the time of posting. So not OZbargained, but gone from Ebay store?

      • +1

I checked the history and literally 4 Laptops were sold. Not a great move unless Rep explains it taken they were more than 10 at the time of posting.

        • Fishy/. Follow the rules and post with 10+ stock next time :(

Marketers are really taking advantage of poor old Apple

Haha I actually added that in the description, still a bit bitter at Apple removing all those ports. Sometimes they are a bit too forward looking…

Ditto, I dont like the way they force new tech standards rather than encourage and incorporate it into new products. But hey, it works.

you call $800 for a corei5 a 'bargain'? I dont' think so. besides it only has standard Intel graphics! more like RRP to me. LOL

  • Dam that is a great price for an Ultrabook with a capable processor :( maybe if they restock
