I have the pro and would have preferred the latest Xiaomi Power Bank 2 as it has micro usb input rather than type C and is much cheaper.

  That's slightly misleading, it's not technically any better, you just prefer not having to use the included Micro USB to Type-C adaptor, but if you've got a QuickCharge 3.0 or Type-C Phone (which…pretty sure all are QC3.0 at this point) then this deal is by far a better option.
