13

ITS OUR BIRTHDAY! - The Premium Session (1 hour) is truly recommended for first timers! For the best results and to see a big difference of shades, this session would be the perfect choice for you! Guaranteed to give you 8 shades whiter teeth.

The Smile Labs Teeth Whitening process is a simple cosmetic procedure. Unlike many of the teeth whitening products advertised on TV, our breakthrough technology is painless, affordable and the results are instantly visible.

With sessions ranging from 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes, Smile LABS can whiten your teeth up to 14 shades. Don’t spend thousands at the dentist for the brighter whiter smile you’ve always wanted. Experience the revolution that is already changing smiles today at your local Smile LABS.
Our combination of LED lights, 5% hydrogen peroxide gel and patented Applia Brush™ Paint-On Technique is unique and provides painless and powerful teeth whitening for less than a third of what the dentist’s charge. Indeed, Smile Labs is so good that American dentists are increasingly installing it themselves.

There are other teeth whitening products on the market that use LED lighting, but they aren’t nearly as effective. Our kits don’t use a mouthguard to apply the gel. Instead our specially designed brushes apply it directly to the teeth, minimising the chances of gum sensitivity and maximising the effect of the LED lighting.

Smile Labs continually put funding into research and development to make sure their gels and products are the best on the market, whilst always ensuring Industry and Government Standards are met and adhered to.

    What is the concentration?

    • -3

      Our gel have 5% hydrogen peroxide based, which is also food grade, so you can swallow during the process.

        Who seats the trays into the client's mouth? If it is the client themselves, what makes your product any better than Opalescence Go?

        EDIT: or, in fact, what makes them better than the Oral B strips? http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/78589/Oral-B-3D-White…

        • -1

          We use retractors to open up the mouth. You can check our website/social media for reference. We let the clients put the retractors themselves or we can guide it in for them. Opalescence Go are home whitening kits, while we are a salon based teeth whitening company. We apply the gel here for you at our salon. The results are instant too, compared to home whitening kits which you have to continuously use for a certain amount of time to obtain your desired shade.

          @smilelabsparramatta:

          What are the qualifications of the staff applying the gel?

          RE: instantaneous vs continuous as the difference between your product and take home kits - that's factually incorrect. If it were true, you wouldn't need 1 hour, your clients would all be complaining about severe sensitivity and cracks suddenly appearing in teeth… well you get the point. The active ingredient of all these products is hydrogen peroxide, even if they start off as perborate/other - they all work the same way.

        • -3

          @kwchaz: Our staff are highly trained to apply the gel for you. Please refer to our FAQs http://www.smilelabsparra.com.au/faq

          We recommend 1 hour sessions as it can get you minimum 8 shades lighter, especially if this is your first time. Severe sensitivity only happens for higher percentage of peroxide based whitening gels/kits. It all depends on the client on how whiter they would want to go. Our process is we apply the gel every 15 minutes, and we also check up on you every now and then to make sure you're all comfortable. Like we said, our gel is food grade so you can swallow during the process.

          @smilelabsparramatta:

          Application of hydrogen peroxide by staff members constitutes provision and application of a medicament, and considering your dodging of the question, they are not dental assistants, let alone health professionals. All the other smile bars get around this 'problem' by using the loophole where clients place the gel themselves.

          You cannot guarantee a minimum of 8 shades lighter (unless you're talking about a shade guide that has barely perceptible differences between each shade), because teeth are not all the same. Some clients will have very thin enamel and very strong dentinal colour - these clients will not experience much shade change at all.

          Severe sensitivity can happen on clients even with a 5% concentration. Especially if you happen to apply it on a client who has gross interproximal caries that cannot be diagnosed by complete randoms.

          EDIT: Direct from the FAQ: "They don't insert their fingers, instruments, or anything in a customer's mouth. " If they don't put anything in the client's mouth, then they most certainly aren't putting in retractors for clients, nor are they applying the gel for clients.

          TL;DR You're factually incorrect about even your own procedures and guidelines.

          @kwchaz: I'm unsure why someone keeps negging you for saying the correct information.

        • +1

          @dgs:

          It's probably the rep after they got negged by someone else for a reply to one of my comments. I very, very rarely neg someone on here.

        • @kwchaz: A trained employee will assist you. We are not dentists or dental personnel. This is not a dental procedure; it is a cosmetic procedure. We will not be performing any invasive actions. We don't insert our fingers, instruments, or anything in a customer's mouth. We simply brush the gel on your teeth using our applica brush.

  • I've never done this before. Does it last forever or just for a specific period?

    • -1

      The treatment will last you 4-6months depending on how you maintain it. If you follow our instructions, it will last you 6months up to a year.

    • +2

      Dental bleaching is never permanent, particularly if you smoke or enjoy red wine. It will need to be touched up every few months, sooner if you do not adhere to the post-bleaching diet or only bleach just the one session without any at home touch up kits.

      I personally recommend custom trays, and you can try out the different brands of bleach until you find one that works for you. A set of trays for the upper jaw should not set you back more than $200 (if not even sub $150), and they will fit you for many, many sessions.

      • Your results will be instant, we don't need you to still take home touch up kits. If you still smoke, definitely your treatment won't last you very long. If you drink wine, coffee, soda or tea without drinking water afterwards, your treatment won't last you very long. Always remember to not let the stains stay on your teeth for a long period of time. Always rinse with water afterwards. Please check our social media for tips for a whiter smile. :)

        • +1

          If they're instant, why would you need a 1hr session?

        • @kwchaz:

          It's real teeth not photoshopped. That's why maybe it takes an hour.

        • +1

          @ms:

          I'm being deliberately facetious with this particular line of questioning, to point out how the rep's claims are perhaps not completely located in reality.

  • you dont use laser method, do you?

    • +1

      No we don't. We use an Infinity Pro Led Light to speed up the bleaching process.

      • along with gel? is that correct?

        • +1

          Yes that is correct.

      • +2

        What is the method by which the LED speeds up the bleaching process?

        • -1

          Are you interested to have your treatment done by us @kwchaz?

        • activated by an accelerator light (INFINITY PRO LED) to speed up the bleaching process

        • +1

          @smilelabsparramatta:

          That tells me nothing. What is the actual process by which it is sped up?

          I am interested in finding out why you think your product is worth $169, when all signs point to 'no, it is not'.

        • +1

          @smilelabsparramatta:

          Why do you call it 'treatment'? None of the staff are qualified to provide treatment of any kind in a commercial setting. There is a reason why I've been very careful to refer to any of your potential customers as clients, not patients.

        • @smilelabsparramatta:
          "Are you interested to have your treatment done by us @kwchaz?"
          Are you interested in selling to your fellow members of OzBargain @smilelabsparramatta?

        • @kwchaz: Professional teeth whitening is best performed with light technology. Smile Labs uses the Infinity™ Pro SL Whitening Accelerator Light, which offers unparalleled results. Light technology is referred to as photo-polymerization and was first approved by the FDA for teeth whitening in 1996. The Infinity™ Pro SL is a LED lamp that uses a cold blue light tuned to a wavelength of
          480-500 nanometers.

          The light technology system works by accelerating the chemical reaction, rapidly speeding up the treatment time. During a treatment, the accelerator light is placed directly in front of the customer's open mouth for 15 minutes. The Infinity™ Pro SL uses the perfect wavelength of light, and is designed to accelerate the whitening process of our teeth whitening gel.

    I would strongly advise against bleaching that is administered by non-dental professionals. This is a safety issue, not a bargain.

    If anything, I learned a lot about teeth whitening. Thanks all, OP included

  • I don't get it

  • +1

    kwchaz points out all points very factually.

  • Negging because Associated OP demonstrates reluctance to adequately explain the procedure involved despite logical inquiries. We remain wondering how the Infinity Pro LED actually accelerates the bleaching process. A professional should understand a prospective customer's caution. With such reluctance to take OzBargain seriously, it is apposite this is OP's most successful deal posting.
