        fixed…

    • My kids love broccoli. Are the modern cultivars less bitter than when I was a kid?

  • Spudshed is great. I find their fruit and veg to be consistently cheaper than coles/woolies; and just as good.

I find you have to be careful at Spudshed - some of it is poor quality.

Coles/Woolies are consistent on cosmetic quality, but not always on taste. Bloody expensive compared to some others.
I suppose their problem is people wanting seasonal fruit all year round.

      • Spudshed pretty much sells the fruit and veg that doesn't make the cut for Coles / Woolies. Not that it's a bad thing, just there's a reason it's so much cheaper (that and less overheads / margins). Only exception is the stuff they grow themselves (taters, onions etc).

  • Time to hit the Spudshed!

  • Thanks op. I have been giving my husband lots of broccoli for a low carb food.He has been enjoying it and has managed to lose some ks.

  • Guess that's one thing WA peps can be rpoud off..cheaper than chip broccoli..

  • 4 for $1 is pretty loose

  • Damn I love getting a head of loose vegetables

  • Yep loose, and they seem like good size / quality

  • They're selling them singly? What's the singular of broccoli? Broccolum?

  • 4 for a buck, and they're huge too, missus grabbed some earlier today
