  • Perfect christmas present for my nephew.

  • Could you please tell me where to enter the code on mobile site? Thanks

      scroll down until you can see the "Discount Codes" section (after you add the item to the cart)

  • OP would these hoops work on the moon?

    Just curious because I'd like to take the kids there one day and do some space-swimming practice through the hoops. If they're not solar wind proof then I won't bother

    • +2

      bought in last sale and were perfect for my recent moon trip. go for it.

    Buying from you becomes quite expensive after adding shipping.

    • +1

      Buy the kick boards + the Dolphin Slalom Pool Toy for $5 which you end up getting delivery at no extra charge. Unconfirmed but worked last time when i bought their special deal.

  • Thanks grabbed one :)

    Perhaps the "What is PayPal?" in the Payment Info section could be renamed to "PayPal"?

          @diddy50:

          No
          No

        • @PAOK11:

          So if you didn't contact them how do you jump to the massive conclusion you were scammed?

        • -2

          @4agte:

          why should I have to contact them over a $5 item

        • +1

          @PAOK11:

          I didn't say you had to. That's your choice but why would you call a store fraudulent because you made that decision?

        • -2

          @4agte:

          Because If you buy something they should send it. End of discussion.

        • +1

          @PAOK11:

          Who said they didn't send it? Discussion reopened

  • "The requested quantity for "Poolmaster Dolphin Slalom Game - 3x Dive Rings - Swimming Pool Toy" is not available." Was this just me or deal expired?

    • I am getting the same error massage.

  • +1

    None left. I tried on mobile and PC, it's saying requested quantity not available.
    I will cancel the order for my dolphin, I was only getting one to train with these hoops.

  • I am considering getting a pool built in my backyard. I already have the hole dug up (been doing it with a bit of help).

    What minimum and maximum depth does everyone think is appropriate for a backyard pool with kids as young as 3 swimming in it?

    • 20m x 15m x 10m should be big enough

    • It probably depends on what you're using it for. If you want to be able to swim laps, you'll probably want the shallow end to be pretty deep, probably at least 1m deep or close to it. Probably a little deep for a 3yo to stand and definitely too deep to sit. However, you could have a wide-ish ledge around the outside, possibly even just on one side, so the other side can be unobstructed for laps/pool toys etc. The ledge could go from about the height the 3 year old can sit with their head above water, to about where they can stand with their head above water (optionally it could get as deep as the minimum pool depth, for slightly taller kids/as the 3yo grows). You could just have gradual steps, but with a ledge the 3 year old can join in where the adults/older kids are playing. The ledge could also be used for taller people who want to sit and have a rest, ease into the water, or if slightly older kids get into trouble it would be much easier to get onto than trying to get onto the edge of the pool.

      Also, it depends on the length, you don't want it to be too sloping, so if it's not going to be particularly long, not too much difference between the shallow and deep ends would be better. In the deep end you'd probably want it to be a minimum of about shoulder height for the taller people you'll have in there so they can be mostly underwater on hot days, you may want it deeper if you'd like to be able to dive/bomb.

      Or you could have a separate shallow section of pool, almost or completely cut off from the deeper pool and have that quite shallow. It would probably be expensive though and it would mean the kid/s are sort of on their own, not far from deep water. Plus even a little bit of water can be dangerous if you can't see them very well. It could also be obsolete when you no longer have a 3yo, whereas ledge would still be useful. Could be safer if they're going to spend time in there with only non-swimmers supervising though, although if you already have a pool fence you could put in a cheap kiddie pool for such occasions.

      I don't really know much about these things though, just some ideas based on what I've seen and might like in a similar situation.

  • All credit to Pool and Spa Warehouse for the sale… but i reckon you wouldn't want to pay more than $5 for these at the best of times. Got them last time, and nothing wrong with them but they're not much more than 3 modular hoola hoops.

    • Got mine. Thanks Pool and Spa
      However they seem to float, even when I fill them full of water. Yer I wouldn't pay more than $5 for them.. Actually I wouldnt even pay $5 as they are next to useless..

      • Haven't used min, but pretty sure it said to put sand (and not water) in them. Yep it does in the instructions :P

        • I put gravel in a number of segments, still floated with no trouble. Haven't tried sand.

          Could be handy lifebuoys? ;-)

        • Put sand? great idea. So when my kids pull them apart or they come apart sand goes everywhere in the pool..
          Why didnt they just put a lead weight inside?

        • @Roary: Because it's a 50c item, selling for $5.
