Good Evening Everyone!

Considering the PlayStation 4 Pro is right around the corner I thought I'd upload a post for the best way to obtain one. If you fall into the category of previously having a PS4 and a couple games laying around, this deal is very relevant to you.

EB Games is willing to give you $210 off a new PS4 Pro (RRP $559), resulting in a difference of $349. To be eligible for this deal you need a 500GB PS4 and ANY GAME! (PS4 needs to be in working condition and include HDMI, Power Cord and Controller).

On top of this between the 7th-9th November if you bring in additional games and accessories (controllers, PS4 Camera etc) you will receive 50% extra and this combines with your EBW bonus! (Does not add extra value on top of console, just the games and accessories).

Level 2: 50% + 10%
Level 3: 50% + 15%
Level 4: 50% + 20%

    Was at PAX yesterday and saw some comparisons and gameplay with the Pro, and honestly the difference in quality really isn't anything major. I get if you want watch 4K movies and such, but I'm struggling to see the value in adopting early at the moment. Hopefully developers will start taking advantage of it soon and we an start seeing a real difference.

      There is so much more to the console than the output display.. If people actually did their research about the console they'd see the value.

        Sony were heavily pushing that and not really much else at PAX, even the guys there presenting it couldn't give much more than that (even VR played the same). I didn't say it doesn't do anything else, my qualms were that at launch there isn't much else to justify its purchase yet, by all means in the future there may well be some great strides but they are not being demonstrated yet.

    i traded mine in for this deal .
    had the white 500gb console that auto ejected discs when it felt like it plus 5 or 6 ps4 games 4 xbox one games and a couple wii u games , 2 ps3 controlers and an extra ps4 controller .

    i ended up getting $600~ trade credit witch paid for the console in full plus dishonored 2 and i also bought watch dogs 2 for $50 .

    so id call that a bargain.

        You will get 50% extra trade credit + your EB world bonus on any games and accessories you trade in with your PS4 - not only PS4 games - I have traded in a lot of XBOX One Games as well….

    hey guys for anyone interested I just been down to EB to work this out - all dealing has to be done by tomorrow, the extra trade value on games and accessories is only until tomorrow.

    So I got trade values on all my titles so I could pick and choose what I could trade to cover the remaining $349 for upgrade. theres only a handful I want to keep anyway but thought I would share in case this helps anyone in planning.

    Also keep in mind as per post if you have a higher than level 1 EBW card you get a higher bonus percentage. That being said if anyone has a Level 4 card and going to be around knox city tomorrow let me know, id like to arrange to use it.

      2 clerks in the store also confirmed I could get the bonus trade credit at the same time as trading ps4 and purchasing new ps4 pro - as long as its done by tomorrow.

          all sorted man just did my trades - got a level 4 card from my bro in law. traded ps4, extra remote, the games I didn't want 726.97 credit. used that to pay for ps4 pro and 163 balance towards the 4 half price games which I think total 188. So for $25 out of pocket and a bunch of games I no have finished, don't want to finish etc. and a spare remote i get a new PS4 Pro and 4 new games. not a bad deal.

          I put that credit towards my Ff15 that would be out in 2-3 weeks! unless you genuinely like all 4… I wanted to get tomb raider but I'm worried it will be free on Playstation plus next yr since I got the other one from it.

      On a serious note… I signed up for game informer on Monday and just got my buy 2 get 1 free pre-owned voucher + $10 credit to trade in some random crap.
      Now I only have 3 hrs to look up random games that I had no intention of getting and check availability~

    Just rang the local EB. Said he'd never heard of the 50% off of the new games when trading for the Pro. Want to get Dishonored 2. Hope he's heard of it by tomorrow!

      Yeah. I went in today and did the Ps4 trade-in deal and also got the 50% extra trade in credit on additional games and accessories (ended up only outlaying $92 bucks so pretty happy)… BUT the 50% off the 4 different games listed in this post wasn't in their system. The guy literally turned the computer around and we went through all the current deals one by one and then just in case he scanned the game in to see if the 50% registered, but no dice. Shame because otherwise I would have grabbed Dishonored 2. The EB guy was trying his best too, said if the deal was still working its way through the system I could come back and ask for it 50% off.

    Do you think any game bundles will be released towards Christmas?

      how much did you end up getting for it?

      & I personally do not think so. If they don't do a bundle when FFXV releases they may just wait until next year for Horizon: Zero Dawn.
