All the TVs through the link are almost 30% off as long as you also buy the soundbar at $143.28 after following steps below. The Bravia 7 prices aren't as attractive considering their performance compared to older generations. This is also the ATL asfaik, although the better deal was arguably at $5999 with the goodguys gift card from last black friday.

This is a brilliant looking panel. For those who believe because it's not an OLED that it doesn't look pretty, go find one on display first at the very least. Remind yourself OLED is just a technology and not a necessity. Pick what looks best to you.

  1. Join MySony Member Benefits and verify your email, after about 10 minutes you should get a promotional code for 10% off.
  2. Add both the TV and the soundbar to the cart, then apply your promo to see updated price.

I believe sony now charges a $49 flat fee for delivery of TVs unfortunately no free postage tricks I could find.

If you also want a decent discount on the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 | 3.1.2ch Soundbar with wireless subwoofer you can sub out (so you can put a sub in, yafeel) the HT-S100F and get this for $669.50 (RRP - $899). I don't really like the soundbar trends I prefer a traditional 5.1 theatre, but Sony speakers have always been good in my experience, even when it comes to the cans they use in their TVs. Not an in depth review but it clearly has extremely crisp mids from what I can hear.

The 75" BRAVIA 7 can be had for $2,878.56 with the soundbar + Postage

While yes you should probably have a look at a panel before buying it, I feel like this sentence is disregarding the objective benefits of an OLED

Well, there are pros and cons of either technology. How and where they are used will have an impact on which one you should choose.

    • I have Sony Oled, it's very nice to watch - on the better input viewing it's streets ahead IMHO

Title should have "Mini LED" in it.
You're short changing yourself by just calling it LED.
Mini LED is a far superior product, and initially looking at your post I thought it was a really crappy deal for an LED TV.

Yes OLED is superior in nearly every aspect except burn-in, but it's also priced accordingly.
Mini LED is a terrific middle ground.

$6000 still sounds quite expensive though.

For instance JB HiFi have their '20% off if you buy a soundbar sale' on too.

Lots of good options there if Sony isn't your bag.

MiniLED is also superior in brightness, correct?

  • Have the 2024 Bravia 9 from a "box damaged" deal found here. Super happy with the display. Great for the PlayStation and the usual streaming shows.

Only complaints I have are nitpicky issues with the remote. Have to charge it around once every month or two (USB-C so it's not a huge deal). This is cause there are leds on the remote to help see the buttons in the dark.

RTings has a great article on how to calibrate it to the best settings for accuracy

Agree. But if you watch movies in a dark room, no fancy mini-LED will ever beat OLED.

  • I have this TV paired with the Sony Bravia Theatre Quad + SW5 sub and it’s incredible. I originally purchased the LG G4, but had lots of banding issues, so returned it for the Sony. Never been happier. Side by side in the shop, the Sony actually looks better than the G4.
