  • Good price for that size full HD tv… Conias used to be an ok brand amongst the cheapies too

  • Oh no, this is blu-ray disc ready, I bought a Sony LCD last week and I don't think it said it was blu-ray disc ready, I really hope I will still be able to play my discs!!

take it back and demand they atleast put a sticker that says it :)

      • I thought Sony were supposed to be better than Conia, must have been mistaken…

@battler: Only if you include a monster cable and 5 year warranty!

            • +1

@kanewestmk2: will throw in a Monster yellow RCA cable to minimise the signal loss. 5 year warranty will cost extra.

              • +1

@battler: Damn, is the cable part of the new ultimate high speed line thoug?

                • +1

@kanewestmk2: No, it's better, it's the 'Silver Video' cable: "Monster's nitrogen injected dielectric for high velocity signal transfer and maximum signal strength."
                  A must for a CRT.

                  • +1

@battler: I'm sure the cure for cancer is going to come out of Monster's labs any day now!

                    • @kanewestmk2: I missed out on this! any know if it’s likely to make a return on COTD or anywhere else?

                      cheers!

  • Panasonic V10 > Any Sony screen on the market.

    as in http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/27545 , code:OZBCONIA for $100 OFF bringing it to $499 + postage

    • Wow. I might grab one of these

    • Gee very temping. But I'll be away in a few days for holidays so no one will be at home to take the delivery. Maybe CoTD's slow delivery will work in my advantage :)

On a serious note, this is listed as 120hz refresh rate. In Australia, 120hz does not work. We use multiples of 50hz. This tv is no bargain, so don't be conned. Look elsewhere.

  • I missed out on this! any know if it's likely to make a return on COTD or anywhere else?

    cheers!
