Assorted Exclusives Coupon Codes from Catch of The Day (Inside)

800

Hi Folks,

Couple of exclusive coupon codes on selected items from today/tomorrows CatchAThon, takes too much space to put the full links and OZB doesn't let me use Bit.Ly. Just search on the front page, its easy enough to find:

OZBGPS - $15 OFF Navig8r 3.5" GPS
OZBLINDT - $5 OFF 12 x Lindt Lindor
OZBMSKB - $15 OFF Microsoft Wireless Desktop 700
OZBMSWC - $15 OFF Microsoft Webcam VX1000
OZBTASCO - $20 OFF Tasco Bino's
OZBTT - $200 OFF TomTom GO 930
OZBPHILIPS - $30 OFF Philips Prestigo Remote
OZBSAMSUNG - $30 OFF Samsung U10 Camcorder
OZBPLEO - $5 OFF Samsung Pleomax AAA Batteries
OZBMIO - $80 OFF Mio Moov 360
OZBCONIA - $100 OFF Conia 42 Inch 100Hz LCD
OZBJVC - $20 OFF JVC Picsio Camcorder

Instructions:

Add the indicated item to cart, go to next step of checkout, enter coupon code

Notes:

1 - It seems our system doesn't accept more than one coupon code per order, so if you are interested in more than one different item on the list above, I suggest you place multiple orders.

2 - Another quirk, this doesn't work on a per item basis, it just deducts the indicated amount from the order total once regardless of how many you order. So keep that in mind when making your purchase decision/calculation, just one deduction per item. I.E if you order 1 x Samsung Batteries for $9.95 and apply code, its $4.95. If you order 2 x Samsung Batteries for $19.80, and apply code it becomes $14.80.

So, here's another kind of exclusive, tell me what you think.

Love the oz bargain exclusives :)

    Maybe add COTD to title.

    • Yes, I second that tomsco - good on you QQQ for offering some exclusive bargains.

      Cheers.

  • As you can only apply one item and one coupon per order, you end up paying more in postage…….

    • +1

i think the $200 off the tomtom go 930 somewhat covers that postage? I think I'll get that tv… damn cheap - ends up being just $578 delivered for the Conia 42 Inch (106 cm) Full HD LCD TV. Nice!

      • I don't need either, and neither of them are exceptionally well-priced. Tomtom is a refurb and the TV of this size can be picked up for around $500-$550. This TV only has one HDMI port, even the Target $599 leaves this deal for dead…..

Good to see COTD starting to get their act together though.

  • 80 off for the mio moov 360 = 99 overall + shipping is a cheap price for a GPS to replace the maps as well.

    • The Officeworks Mio is only $86 and has the latest maps……..

  • +1

Did not work for me Invalid Coupon Code:
    OZBVLINDT
Lindt Chocolate Selection: Option A: 12 x Lindt Lindor Dark 100g

    See below - should be:
    OZBLINDT

    thanks, quan

  • thanks for these discoutns!!!

  • +1

Just to add the Tomtom Go 930 is refurbished. I think it should be up there in the description, quite easy to miss the word "refurbished" on the website.

  • -1

    OZBGPS - $15 OFF Navig8r 3.5” GPS
The code only gives me $10 off?

    • -1

yeah I was about to post the same thing - only gives $10 discount

    • getting the same problem here.

How is combine shipping going to work with separate orders?

      • It doesn't work with separate orders, sorry. Make sure the price delivered is right for you, on a per order basis.

Thanks for the coupons. Just bought the chocolate packs. Just a note that the coupon code "OZBVLINDT" is wrong, the right code is "OZBLINDT" (without the V).

    • fx'd

      • Hi QQQ, great post. Could you please provide coupon code for Caribee Starlite 3 tent? Thanks.

  • +2

I had a really bad customer service experience with COTD. It makes me wonder if low price is enough to justify the hassle in dealing with a store with no phone number and delayed replies to urgent e-mails.

    • +1

If it's cheap, it's cheap. Just like MSY, cheap prices don't come with everything. If you don't like then don't shop there.

      • That's a grossly oversimplified interpretation of what blackops was saying!

He raises a valid point, and if you take a look at some of the other replies in this and other CotD threads then you might just comprehend that, rather than just taking a cheap shot with perhaps the most asinine comment I've read in a while!

FWIW, I AM a fairly satisfied CotD customer, but I DO still closely scrutinise every purchase for VFM vs potential hassles; it's risk analysis 101 (aka common sense) mate! ;)

    • +3

Actually, I've had two occasions where my items arrived damaged or missing bits and pieces. Both were handled very fast (took them less than 24hrs to reply and fix the prob) and in a professional manner… Also noting that I've purchased quite a lot of stuff from them over the past couple years without a hitch.

      • I've had pretty good warranty experience with COTD, sure they don't always respond quickly but it always gets sorted out @ not cost to myself.

        • Yeah, I've had pretty decent service from them myself; however, I was pretty miffed one time a stuff-up with my CotD account and resultant delay in responding to my email >24hrs meant I missed the opportunity to make a purchase I was keen on at the time.

There was no offer made to me to purchase the item thereafter at all, despite my email message requesting this; which I found rather disappointing! On the plus side, I still have that money in my account, a penny saved's a penny earned they say! I'm much more philosophical about these kind of things now! :)

Ah, the joys of dealing with email contact only companies! ;)

  • Thanks. Didn't use the coupons, but bought some other stuff anyways.

  • Guys wheres the search button lol???

    • In your browser

    • Web 3.0, bult into browser

      Press Ctrl + F

      • QQQ, how do i find the other OZB discount code? Tried Ctrl F..nothing.

  • Just picked up the Lindt Lindor dark. $15 for 12 bars, can't go wrong!

  • Lovely Lindt…free shipping too…gotta love that! Thanks COTD!

  • sure, shipping COULD be faster, if they hired more staff, and prices COULD be higher

im happy to wait an extra couple days for my chocolaate
    Thanks COTD

  • Hi QQQ, I missed out the HP DV4 and DM3 laptop deals last time, will they be avaible for sale again? Thanks.

    • +1

I'm sorry, there is no further stock of both.

  • great stuff thanks, call me weird, but with all these coupons and having to make separate orders, why don't you just reduce the prices on the individual items to start with?

  • i tried to order the 10 x Samsung Pleomax 9V Batteries and entered OZBPLEO but it doesn't reduce the price even it said the code applied successfully. what have i done wrong?

    • Maybe it only works on the 60 x AAA's!?

      • Correct, amended.

        • should be AAA, not AA
          i ordered one, thx!

  • Ahhh I thought I was missing an actual search button on the web site.

  • Bought the Tasco bino among other things. Can't go wrong at $15, always wanted to have one of these for travel.

  • Nice. $14.90 + postage for the Tasco Binoculars doesn't seem too bad. Shame about having to place separate orders for the items though.

    • Great deal, Now just got to find a use for the bloody things.

      • Yeah I got a pair from Harvey Norman but they're good to take on holidays or to sporting grounds.

  • Any rep, will the catchathon continue tomorrow with the remaining items or will new items be added??

If there are new items, care to preview?

  • Very nice work, :D

  • QQQ - Somehow, I got through the checkout without entering the coupon code. I expected a box to come up but it never did. Feeling pretty silly, the item I wanted to apply the coupon on was the Samsung U10. What can I do about this?
I placed a second order of just the camera with the discount, but what I'd really like to do is combine the whole order into one, with the discount. Have I made a real mess of things? :P

    ————GAMERS————-
Guys make sure to check out the joystick for $1!
Now I hardly play any flight simulator games, but this joystick for $1 + $1.95 postage is very hard to pass up!

Here's a direct link to the item!
    http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_…

    • +3

Got one of these ages back, when they were 4.95 or something..
Be warned, cannot be used on win7 or vista, came with drivers on a floppy disc, lol, but even after finding a download for the drivers, eventually, couldnt find any compatible with anything past xp..
Good buy if your still using xp/win98 and an old computer, as it has both a usb and the old gameport (remember those??) connector, fine if you want a new joystick for ol' Privateer on your 133 .. or via dosbox if you can find drivers…lol

Personally i gave up on mine, was never able to use it,so i cut the cable off and its sitting in the kids toybox ;)

      • thanks for informing us, Are you sure it was the exact same model though? description says it's compatible with XP/Vista…
just wanted to know before i made the purchase..

        • +1

I would trust his review for now.

Have e-mailed the guys to check the compatibility and pulled the Vista support from the ad, will let you know.

      • +1

Strange, my joystick works just by plugging it in, running windows 7 64bit. No drivers needed, uses the standard win7 drivers.

I paid $5 for mine from COTD, exact same model.

Works very well, better then my logitech joystick that lost calibration after a few months.

        • wow thanks samfisher, I trust your detailed review on it.. sounds great, also using Win7 64bit.

          will go ahead with purchase.

          • @Cripto: Hmm.. pretty sure it was the same one,the genx500, but just in case i ordered this one to see if its the same, also running win7 64bit, if it doesnt work, well, it was only $3 so its doesnt matter lol.
With my luck i got a bung model from the get go..lol..

            EDIT_
Yep definately the same one, just grabbed it from the kids toybox to check, definately the Genx500USB..

It's worth a shot, only $3 after all..

        • I bought this and can confirm that the Futuretronics GenX 500 USB joystick does work with Vista (32-bit) out of the box (ie, Vista has the driver/callibration software built in so you don't need the driver on the floppy for this OS). It has full support for all switches/buttons. Ths joystick is old (has Win95/98 as OS on the box). I have confirmation from Futuretronics that it is not officially supported by them on Vista/Win7 (since they came out well after the product) but in their limited testing it seems to work fine. Hope this helps.

    • On the other hand you could use this as remote controller as seen in this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7922kUXhEes

  • Tempted to buy the Lindt chocolates but Coles have them in all varieties for $1.75 ea and Kmart the same from tomorrow for a week.

  • +1

I got the Philips Remote. At $40 it was too tempting, I hope it works alright

    • hope it works ok for a HTPC setup, as I'm slowly getting the parts from all these computer parts specials to build one now.

    • i got as one well, @ $47, can't be wrong(i hope).

  • +1

I LOVE YOU CATCH OF THE DAY!

    I LOVE YOU
    I LOVE YOU
    I LOVE YOU
    I LOVE YOU
    I LOVE YOU
    I LOVE YOU
    I LOVE YOU.

    That is all.

    • +3

I wish I shared your enthusiasm, I can't see a thing that I would need.

  • I've already bought 22 blocks of Lindt chocolate from Coles……..

  • great deals guys, i'm hoping the TomToms sell out soon cause i cant really afford it but at $270 it's a steal

  • Anyone know anything about the TV? Talking about http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_…

    • I'm a little curious too. But I know little about it. Usually people say don't go for the lesser brands though? But the price of this is tempting..

      Btw, thanks for the codes!!

  • +1

any free deals this morning if Australia won?

  • +1

Great deals QQQ, keep it up!
Also your candy is delicious, didn't think I could finish the 1kg by the end of the year…turns out only takes a day to finish a packet :(

  • Just picked up a Mio Moov 360 for only 99 doneros TYVM COTD + OZB
Also cripto i am waiting for my 1kg of starburst to arrive -_-

  • +2

No coupon code for "808GB Full HD Home Media Centre" :(

    • +1

I am wondering the same thing too

  • In reference to OZBCONIA - $100 OFF Conia 42 Inch 100Hz LCD

I can't seem to find it but is the Conia TV (Option A) 100hz?
    http://www.conia.com.au/CL4206fHD.html

Option B says 120hz on COTD and also on the Conia website but nothing with that info on the first one.
    http://www.conia.com.au/CL4202FHD.html

    • Option A is a one HDMI port model and is 50Hz not 100Hz. The link you have is wrong

  • where is link for Samsung U10?

  • I'm looking at those two handheld minicams, the Picsio and the U10. With the discount they both appear to be roughly the same price, has anyone had any experience with either? I'm leaning towards the Picsio

  • Bit annoying the codes come out way after i have already ordered from their website.

  • I just purchased the GPS so I'm keen to see how good a 60 dollar GPS can do.

    • I bought that one too. It's a good way to see if a GPS is for you, I reckon. If I find it useful I'll upgrade to a better one and donate that one to parents or something.

      • Yeah my chain of thought as well. 60 dollars for this GPS doesn't seem like a large gamble.

  • Any coupon code for Caribee Starlite 3 tent please?

    • I want the sleeping bags to come back.

  • Would love a code for the digital radio!? :)

  • Can i cancel my order of lindt chocolates i made yesterday and reapply with this code?

    • +1

      good luck with that……

  • Thanks for the codes. I ended up getting the Mio Moov GPS

  • HELPPPPPP please OZbargainers, I am newbie and cannot find the discount codes wen to home page of catch key in "CTL F" and nothing happens in that seach, so how do you find the codes, please be specific, thank you!!!!

  • Thank You Mikinoz for your kind confirmation , I was trying to figure out if there is additional discount for the 2 Analon cookset, does not appear to be any as there as was no code for it????….what a bummer!
It is good to be a part of this community! Cheers.

  • It seems the codes have expired. I tried OZBPLEO and OZBTASCO and got the same error message. I thought they would be available until end of day 2 of CatchAThon. Is anyone else haveing the same issue. QQQ is this correct?

    • affirmative, same problem for coupons OZBPLEO and OZBTASCO, "This coupon has expired". Appears only valid till midnight tonight?

  • QQQ, thanks for these discounts mate, top notch.

I am sad however I missed out on the kensington monitor arm - can you please see if there is a spare one lying about, i reaaaaaallly want one. thanks!

  • There should be a picture of QQQ and his techniques under the marketing handbook section of "goodwill"… he's turned some negative reviews of COTD on OzBargain around.

These days I expect to see OzBargainers in shirts and ties knock on my door and offer me a pamphlet to discuss the joys of COTD with vacuous smiles on their faces

(Was a fan of COTD before the lollies, still am now!)
