Specially Selected Brioche Burger Buns 4pk $2.69 (Was $3.29) Everyday @ ALDI

1260

I actually have never seen anyone post this so I guess I am the first one? Absolute bargain compared to these from Woolies, almost half-price and probably just the same quality IMO these are amazing for the price.

I thought the general price for these are around $2.40, ALDI must raised $0.20. I had these buns before I had bit of stomachache after eating it though, not a really bargain here, cheeky ALDI

Are you in NSW? Or QLD?? The price was $3.29 a couple of weeks ago. If you have purchased it at that price I would take a hunch that it was marked down as It may of been nearly expired.

      • I am in QLD, I did not check the expiry date for theses buns, I have purchased 3 times from memories, they all were around $2.40; Aldi has introduced these since early on this year, so….Idk man, have not purchased any since that bad experience.

  • Thanks OP been looking for a decent burger bun for some time now.

  • Good work! Thanks for sharing! :)

since when is it ok to post an aldi product compared to a name brand and call it a bargain? This post doesnt belong here

since when was it NOT okay, and sorry to break the news but you're not the boss here, you cannot dictate or determine what classifies as a deal on here or not, so stop acting like you're the king of OzBargain and actually have a real reason. Rather than "uh, it's not a bargain because you can't compare ALDI products to other products", like WTF man?

He wants to join the ozbargain massive so he can gang up, bully and belittle other members then finally neg them to hell. Toxic.

it's not a bargain because you can't compare ALDI products to other products

Isn't it the similar logic Bunnings use get get out of price beat?

When the product is of similar quality or value but is much cheaper I guess.

You would prefer not to know when other cheaper comparable options are available? Really?

Considering they are $5.99 for a pack of 4 at Ritchies IGA this is well and truly a bargain. Thanks OP

The plastic bags aren't free from the others as the prices are 30% higher so you're paying for it anyways…

Thanks for the heads up OP.
I've been picking up the wife's Gluten Free bread from Aldi for quite a while (another Bargain there too!) and hadn't really bothered checking out the rest.

  • Great post OP. Luuuuv these buns. Bought them from Woolies and paid for a whole lot more (almost $4 I think). Also bought the Brioche hotdog buns and guess what? Beautiful! Aldi here I come. Sieg Heil!!

  • I love these buns so soft and tasty. Just spotted the brioche hotdog buns. Have to try them

    • The only neg thing about the hotdog buns are their size which can't accommodate full size franks. The cocktail franks x2 or those tinned hotdogs from Aldi should suffice.

      • probably better suited to gourmet sausages than franks, I'd like my franks with regular sesame buns!

Here's an upvote. Thanks for the heads up.

  • Great buns for burgers. Also buy the ALDI mustard and burger cheese. Tastes just like a Maccas burger, Been buying them for years from Aldi. So much cheaper than other store.

  • Cheap animal fat, anyone?
