Thanks. I was thinking of getting one the other day but completely forgot.

I wear one of these when I go out to the nightclubs as they are so dark, but I always end up going home alone for some reason.

Next time, you wear this, it may make a difference. 😋

  • Comparison US$2.03 with 2629 feedback. Lumens differ in description but may in fact be same product. Cash Rewards 11.11% I am finding to be more reliable at tracking. TCB 11.11% has no claims allowed if it does not track.

    • Not as bright as this one. I ordered the same product as in the op and can confirm receiving it so feedback shouldn't be a problem.

      • I feel that 600 lumens is unlikely to be true. Both are "LED: R3+2 LED". Truth in labeling seems often not to be the done thing for lumens in this market here at Ali Express. Some sellers believe an overstated lumen claim will help them make sales over other sellers giving truer lumens. Comments in feedback indicate it is more like 150 lumens (not 600) which is what the US$2.03 listing rightly claims. Both have a high feedback number.

    3xAAA Batery [sic]

False economy. I'd pay more than double for one that takes a pair of AA instead.

Agree. I've accumulated quite a few head torches the last over 10 years, for hiking, travel, and handy for maintenance jobs at night.

Dislike the 3 AAA ones now after much use - AAA batteries have lower capacity, may not be as bright with lower voltage using rechargeable batteries (3x1.2V instead of 4.5V), more fiddly to change batteries (in dark), and cost more to buy those batteries, etc.

My favourite (for travel) takes a single AA & quite bright. Always easy to find AA batteries around the world, as I don't bother with charger & rechargeable batteries when travelling. The 3 AAA ones never leave the house anymore😯

Those blinding lumens in a cheap torch powered from 3 AAA batteries…
Title shows 600, description 1200, actual output unknown😯

  • +1

    Cheaper here eBay

    • Not when you allow for the 11.11% cashback which made this a good deal.

    Nice

Waterproof but don't put it into water

  • How is the interface on these? Do you need to cycle through all modes every time?

Thinking of getting a few for friends' kids out camping that I don't care if they get busted but not worth it if it's too much of a pain for a 5yo to use.

Push the button once and it turns on, push it again and it goes brighter. Push it a third time and it goes onto two smaller red LEDs. Push it a fourth time and turns off.
