In before someone complains re: United Airlines

    • Flew then this year to LAX and compared to 747 days they really have stepped up their game somewhat. Had in-flight wi-fi top unlike Qantas…

Not warranted. I flew with them in June and they were good. I wouldn't hesitate to go with them again.

      • They constantly offered snacks and drinks (including alcohol) outside of the designated meal times.
      • WiFi on board.
      • On flight entertainment system and selection was excellent (far superior to the Qantas system).
    • I've had a number of flights with them (United) recently inside the US, and they are rubbish.

      • Ha - I beat you!

I That Want Flight? (ITWF) :-) Good find OP, as always. You must live on the internet nocure (18) :-)

      ithatwantflight.com.au is still available.

  • This is probably the 787 Dreamliner too, one of the quietest aircraft

If not just pray for another QC35 deal in the meantime!

    • I found myself sick in 787 during decent and landing… when i have some alcohol intake during the flight. Than never happens with 777/767 or airbuses.. Don't know why, may be different climate control or whatever they use to provide oxygen in the cabin?

Or just a one off sickness event?

  • wonder if april flights will be this cheap

  • Any deals for Sydney to New york - april or may next year?

  • Although it is a longer trip, the Etihad deal (which might be expired now) was under $1200 to NYC in April.

We broke up the trip by flying into Paris and out of NYC - you have to add a Paris NYC flight in between but they are cheap (about 300).

  • Has anyone had experience with getting someone like Flight Centre to honour their Best Price Guarantee on deals found through IWTF?

I've been independently searching the flights my travel agent has suggested via IWTF and some of the prices are nearly 50% cheaper but the cheapest "seller" looks a litte dubious/dodgy. Like they've got a 1900 number as a support number. Even if I pick some of the slightly more expensive but still cheaper that FC options - will they be likely to honour or do the have some loophole to get out of it.

    Cheers
