Picked up some Lego compatible building block sets at Big W and have been very impressed by the quality.
There were four different sets available at the Tuggeranong (ACT) Big W and may be more other places. They should make a great stocking stuffer for the kids at Christmas.
Not sure how long the sale is for, or if they will be available after that.

  Any reviews on this brand of blocks? We have had "mega blocks" in the past where the blocks get a bit loose after a while. I guess not many people can replicate the engineering precision of Lego blocks. :)

    The instructions are frustrating. They're ok if your li'l one wants Lego and you just want him/her off your back on the cheap. Quality is so so - you get what you pay for.

    Actually the other day I only paid 80c too instore because there was 20% off toys for some reason. Not sure if it is still going, and for 20c I didn't think it was that big a deal (not sure that last comment is acceptable here).

    I bought instore today and was charge $1 think they are having issues with site from the 20% off sale
    All toys when you click on them are showing 20% off online
