you can say the same thing with pretty much all the brands. No one's going to go out of their way to write up a glowing review for a fridge.
I wouldn't buy Samsung appliances, no matter how cheap they are. And it has nothing to do with a recent phone recall.
I agree, far too many Samsung appliances have caught fire, Samsung's handling of these incidents is pathetic (plastic bag to stop a fire) and those particular appliances are still catching fire. It shows a total disregard for safety in the pursuit of profit.
Not to mention their washing machines are rubbish with poor performance and reliability. Their fridges are substandard, poor performing and unreliable.
Their top loaders are the ones that were catching fire (a few models only).
Their front loaders I think are fine….We've had ours for 3 years or more and it's been perfect.

I know a few people with then who are totally unhappy and have replaced them over reliability and performance. Choice statistics back this up.
They take the "Hot" products to a different level.
They should start making fireplaces, fire starters and incinerators. They have an explosives division but I hope they use third party detonators etc.
