I had a pair, suffered from audio jitter sound quality was good for it time but we have come a long way since 2009. Mine had noise cancelling and for a while I used them just for this. But this version is lacking ANC.
Forgive the ignorance, but what's the problem with 2.1? I have a set of Bluetooth headphones, and an old Bluetooth earpiece from like 2010, both work fine on everything, my old xperia play on Android 2.3, Nexus 5 on the latest stuff, Nexus 7 (2012) on Android 6, 2011 MacBook pro,y Chromebook, my Vita, even a bloody PSP go from years back… No problems on anything, so what is 2.1 and why is it a problem?

Due to the Bluetooth 2.1 I'd put these in the premium skype headset category, and nothing more.
