Picked up Red Steel 2 with motion plus $30 and Cricket $10 both on the wii. I reckon their current sales is better the Game.

Id say that the ds lite bundle is probably a pricing error, they've done a sweep discount on all guitar hero products and that bundle has been done by mistake.. didnt stop me from ordering though.. ;)..
maybe a good idea to screenshot the page so they cant renege and say it isnt the ds lite full bundle, but the shipping weight matches for the game and controller plus the ds lite..so yeah

well ive order at dse before with a price error, and they will not honor that price so if the DS is a price error its highly unlikely you will get it which sucks
well they've had plenty of time to discover the error and the price is still online as of 10.50am

Got up the Wii Metallica bundle link, but no online stock, only in about 20 stores.
I saw Band Hero (instrument pack) in DSE selling for $100 also, so perhaps it's a promotion on all XXX Hero games?
pity its not the Wii version though or otherwise I'd have snapped it up..
I was up there a few days ago at Calamvale DSE and they had GH 5, Band hero, Beatles RB for 15 each~ bad since Im intending to sell my plastic guitars, I didnt buy any ;P

Because Dick Smith Online has a tendency to cancel orders that they made a pricing mistake on, and judging from how cheap this is it's a big possibility.
Still, it's a good a offer and I put in an order for one so we'll see how it goes.

exactly, im 30 minutes from the nearest town, which is 2 hours away from the nearest dse store, hence why i ordered online..
what a load of crap, still showing them for sale, with available stock on the website, they can bloody well give me what i paid for, if people are still buying them instore than they obviously still have stock..
And only sending the cancellation email after their phone lines are off are a bloody cop out..

Also in the email they dont tell us its been cancelled. You have to go into the attached and see that it is gone. no apology. nothing. very bad customer service.
Dick Smith has some damage control to do on this. As they still have my money, i don't even have the option of going into a store and buying one if i was inclined to drive for 2 hours to get one.

So when i ordered yesterday , they definately had stock, and still do, as it says on the website..

When i log into my account on there, my order is still listed as pending so they havent even updated my account…
this should not still be showing as available to purchase if orders placed a day ago are being cancelled.

I haven't received any cancellation emails and when I log into DSE online my order status says: "Awaiting Backorder Release"
Not really sure what that means, but I'm not gonna wait around for them to jerk me around with my money.

Have you received an invoice from them? Check that. They are not being up front and making it plain clear to people that they are cancelling their orders. Instead they are letting people wait and think they are getting something unless they open the invoice pdf. (and how many people do that except to check the price is right which you would think a big company like dick smith would get right).
The only emails I got were the order email straight after I placed the order which was basically just a receipt with no attachments, then immediately after I got my paypal receipt. Have not received anything at all after that meaning no invoice PDF.
yeah, no invoice pdf, i did get an email varifying what i had ordered and a a order cancellation pdf but they were more than happy to grab the money asap. But yes, you had to open the pdf to find out your order was cancelled - there was no mention in the email and they sent them out AFTER customer service was closed for the weekend…could that be so they wouldnt have to deal with us?
and STILL damn well showing as in stock and available at 10.55pm!!!
you know something - what a difference in customer service - order from Office Works online and receive the item the next morning - order from DSE and it takes them 24 hours just to cancel the order….
It will be interesting to see what they claim to be the reason your orders have been canceled.
If it's a pricing error, im more than happy to try and find my reciept from the store i went into today and scan it and post it here.
Please post it I want to try it at my local store if they reject it…I'll show 'em your receipt… can't wait to see the reaction on their face.

I didn't have to argue it. I just went and asked if they had any DS guitar hero bundles.. he looked it up and said is that the one for 100 bucks,, and i said yes.. he said they had quite a few in stock.

they could find themselves with a real problem if they are blocking ip addresses, especially as mine is dynamic, so they would be blocking a large number of people…

Due to the lateness of the cancellation emails that got sent, as you know, there was no way for me to get hold of anyone on the weekend..
The person i did get hold of, even though they were associated with the web sales, had no way of fixing the problem, as all stock sent out via online sales apparently comes from the "display" store and the head office's warehouse..
Anyhow.. called head office first thing on monday, and apparently my ds pack has been backordered, ie.. transferred from another store that had stock..
But since then, my account hasnt shown any change in the status of the order, other than "backordered".. so im not exactly hopeful..
If you still havent received your refund, i advise you call them up and complain, since its been a week now for some, definately should have gotten it by now..
Theyve probably screwed up and your orders disappeared or some crap.. i dont know..
but considering how long its been, with, i presume, no communication.. i'd start setting stores on fire until you get your money back or you get the ds lite you paid for..
