They had the XF 56mm APD listed at $1450 but then increased it to… $1800 2 mins after the sale started.
    …That's a 24% increase for a 20% sale. LOL

    • and what has that to do with this actual deal?

Seems like this one didn't jacked up so the deal is spot on

    • Surely that's a perfect case for the ACCC to investigate. It's a disgrace. Sad thing is that most people get caught up in the 'sale' moment and will buy it.

If my maths is correct, the new price after discount is $1440. A whopping $10 discount!

      Ted's…..you suck!

    • What were you doing during that 2 minutes window? You snooze, you lose!

    • +2

Common man, thats a different stores, check its camerastore_warehouse! Teds had the 56mm APD for 1799 forever.

    • all the down votes by ted's employees…

  • +2

Can you claim Fuji Cashback from Ted's ebay shop ?

    • +1

You would think so? assuming you would get a Teds receipt with the camera?
If so, the true deal is the Xpro2 for $1549..

      • Why dont they have click and collect in store, off overseas tomorrow so with cashback it would be $1320 =/

    • +1

I'm almost positive I got a regular Ted's receipt in the box when I got an X-T1 from them last eBay sale. So yes

    • +1

      yes you can

    • +1

Yes. I have done it before. No cashback on X-T2, tho.

Ted's, George's camera shops are always more expensive, am I wrong?

    • You're negging without even knowing?

      • Tell me which item in Ted's or George's shop is cheaper than other Camera gear shop?

        • Case in point. This camera looks to be cheapest anywhere, including from Hong Kong

  • +1

Ted's has the worst prices of camera gear out there… Better get a full frame sensor for $1850.

  • +1

    just bought one, thanks.
They also included a $100 store gift card by the looks of the email receipt.

  • -2

    $2k for an APS-C sensor… LOL

    • you just saved me some $$, will stick with my cheap EM5.

  • +1

A camera is much more than a sensor.
I have an a7r2 but I missed Fujifilm greatly.

  • The X-T2 just got ended by the Ted's. Sucks!
However, the X-Pro2 is still available for now and it is a good deal with 20% off and $300 cash back promotion.

You're negging this deal because its sold out??

      • +2

If you have kept your eyes on this deal, you would notice that it was not actually sold out, whereas the listing was ended by them on purpose. It showed 10 available right before it was ended. Also, I noticed that one X-T2 was sold this afternoon and the available unit became 9. A moment later, the number was changed to 10 again and the listing got ended afterwards. Maybe they only had one X-T2 in stock, but, in that case, they should not have marked 10 available on their page.

      • +1

FYI, after all the promotions gone from eBay, Ted's now have the X-T2 relisted again. Sneaky sneaky.
        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Fuji-X-T2-Body-/122245857398?…

Also, contacted them a couple of days ago in regards to the availability of the X-T2 and I was told no stock at that time and it takes around two weeks to get new stocks in. Apparently, their definition of two weeks is more or less equal to two days.

  • I've been eyeing on the Fuji products since the start of the sale and it's midnight now and I can see Teds have taken down a few things! So sneaky of them!

The XPro2 with the 20% + $300 Fujifilm cash back is an absolute bargain for $1549.91 if you're flying overseas then you are eligible for TRS. Surely Fujifilm will bring out a Cashback for the XT2 next year if you can wait :p

  • With every eBay sale, Ted's ends a bunch of their items early. What is the point of being a part of the sale and then pulling all the good items down???
