  Captain Morgan private stock is fantastic, I am going to order some at that price
  Got some from the states earlier this year when I was over there (it was like $40AUD btw) and it's streets ahead of any of the spiced rums generally sold here.

      Private stock always neat or on the rocks, it's too nice to mix.
      Depending on what I'm doing but with CM Black I like it with dry ginger and lime and sometimes even coke and lime.

  @carwashhair when we get new stock in cost prices can vary dependent upon supplier and exchange rate at the time. We try to still be competitive against the retail benchmark but you're right we definitely had some cheaper stock of this item before.

    Sorry GoodDrop, you've very likely lost me as a customer. Now I order $300+ of items and delivery has gone from nothing to $15. When the exchange rate was an average of at least 20% worse for Aussies for UK goods than now I bought Laphroaig Quarter Cask for $67 (now $97), Muirhead 16yo for $50 (now $80), Glenfarclas 105 for $97 (now $127), Glenfarclas 12yo for $72 (now $85), Jura 16yo for $83 (now $105). I even recall getting a Glenfarclas 21 yo for around $105… fantastic at the time, but now what? I could go on, but you get my drift. No doubt with the popularity of age statement single malts taking off, distilleries are likely price gouging, but these differences are way too much to put it down to that! Now I just wait for DM or Nicks to make a big special out of something and take it from there.
