FREE 150 Qantas Frequent Flyer Points with 60 Second Health Survey

3530

Possibly the easiest and quickest 150 QFF points you ever earned.

Get 150 FREE QFF for a quick 60 second survey.

Can be used to extend expiry of QFF points in your account if you haven't topped up in a while.

Your Qantas Points will not expire as long as you earn or use Qantas Points (excluding family transfers or the conversion of points from Aquire) through your Frequent Flyer account at least once every 18 months. This includes earning or using Qantas Points with our program partners.

Allow up to 6 weeks to receive your points.

By submitting this survey, you consent to receiving a telephone call from Qantas Assure regarding health insurance.. The mobile phone number field is optional; just don’t put it in and it seems unlikely you’ll have to deal with the call

Enjoy

    good deal

i know. You would usually have to spend at least $50 (with an AMEX Platinum Edge) to get 150 points

      • +1

AMEX Platinum Edge wouldn't even get you 150 Qantas points :P

In fact it would probably give you more value than 150 Qantas points.

Also, sif measure points in terms of dollar spend. Measure in terms of bonus points on sign up!

  • How long do QFF points last before they expire?

    • 18 months IIRC

      • Cheers, is it the same for Velocity?

        • +1

Firstly, from 1 June 2016 your Velocity Points will not expire provided you earn or redeem Points at least once every 24 months. Previously, the expiry period was 36 months. Any Points earned from eligible activity prior to 1 June 2016 are not affected by this change and will not expire for 36 months

  • Easy :)

Can I get the points a second time?

    • give it a go and see what happens

      • +1

The terms and conditions say no.

    • Oh dear. Was thinking the same

  • +5

Don't even need to answer the questions. Only the asterisked boxes…

    • +2

I did the same thing… Just my name QF number and submit…

    • I notice that too. Tempted to not answer any of the questions. Wonder if I'll still get the points though.

    • or just answer everything as the first option

  • -2

I think that even though that the mobile number field is optional, you need to get a call to get the points.

I submitted without a mobile number so it will be interesting to see if i get the points….

      Thanks for editing, EC.

And for those of you who are negging women who are asking to be included in a forum of which they're members, maybe it's time to think about someone other than yourself?

        Thanks for editing, EC.

Apologies, didn't mean to offend anyone 😥

    Here you go lads

    Bit presumptuous EC.

Just put virgin's number in the phone section lol

  • 30 seconds….done.

  • have you guys done the woolies thing to earn QFF points?

    • They're not giving out any QFF points until sometime in December.

  • Converts to 15c of points for 60 seconds.

    • Its actually $1.50 .. do the math again .. still not worth the effort AND they're buying your contact details for cheeeeeep .. :-( .. !!

      • You make it sound like they don't have your details already..

        • Don't be deceived, this is NOT Qantas offering the survey but an insurance company trolling via QFF memberships. They're asking YOU for information QFF already has but is not entitled to pass on to them .. 😬 .. !!

        • @cornucopia: So who do you think owns Qantas Assure?

        • -2

@illumination: That's easy, NIB. NOT QFF .. :-) . !! NIB provides the insurance product, all Qantas contributes is its customer data base.

Quote: The relationship with Australia’s most recognised brand, allows us to tap into their avid Qantas Loyalty membership to further grow our business, but equally this partnership allows Qantas to leverage our claims management and extensive underwriting expertise,” said Mr Fitzgibbon (for NIB).'

Says it all really. Do your research next time please.

Very handy! Is there some way to be notified of easy points-earning opportunities like this?

      Ozbargain. And maybe point hacks

  • Thanks OP! I screwed up and my points expired so I gave them a ring and had to do the 2500 points challenge (get 2500 points from 2 sources). Got the points from some wine but just needed a second source.

    • So I just did a google search on "2500 points challenge" So they gave you a reinstatement challenge to earn 2500 points with two partners over 6 months? Had they emailed you saying that you had points that would expire? Did you need to give any excuses to get the challenge option?

      • Yep - thats the challenge. The weekly/often emails QFF sends you contains the points total and when it is almost about to expire due to inactivity they actually mention that your points will expire. However I didn't see that so my points expired, then I rang them up and made some weak excuse and they gave the challenge. So I don't think it is difficult to actually get the challenge option.

Since I'm typing this out, there is something called epiQure that sells wines with bonus points and I got one with 3000 bonus points. A couple days later or so I checked my account and the points were reinstated. Pretty easy all round!

  • Boom. Thanks OP!

  • Cooool. Hadn't scored points since Woolies stopped QFF points accumulation in Jan, Though I am aware I can opt in to their new system now.

  • Forgot NOT to put my mobile phone because of Google auto-fill.
Hope I dont get annoying insurance offer call

  • thanks op
    simple and fast

  • I just got the 150 points posted to my qff account this morning . From memory the only field I entered was my name and qff number .

  • Easy. Thanks OP

  • Thanks op

  • Excellent! It was more like a 15 second survey :)

  • Has anyone got their 150 points yet? Still haven't received mine.

    • I never got mine.
EDIT: Actually got them with a date of 01/12/16
