Free $30 Birthday Voucher Plus Free Beer @ Ribs & Rumps [NSW/QLD]

610

Just cashed in my free $30 voucher from ribs and rumps and got a free beer as well.

Sign up to their Tribe app.

Wait approx 2-4 weeks. (was told they approve all vouchers once a month)

Check your account regularly as you don't get a notification when it comes.

Go and get free food and beer. Take away available if you don't want to look like a ozbargainer eating for free in the restaurant like me.

Also they didn't even check my ID so might be worth a gamble and putting your birthday soon.

if you don't want to look like a ozbargainer eating for free in the restaurant like me

    What's wrong with that?
I thought an ozbargainer would be proud of it! ;-)

As a fyi you can't use the $30 and the drinks voucher in the same transaction. Saves you nasty surprise at the end :)

    • I used mine on Sat and they allowed me to. I tried to also use entertainment book 25% off as well and was told no.

      • Used mine also and it was ok

  • sweet. good to see this deal. just claimed it for my birthday tomorrow =) how do I fit in bondi pizza, subway, coldrock, churros and ribs in one day….

    • Where did you get the Birthday ribs from?

      • Ribs and rumps?

Church st parramatta, all of them next to eachother.

  • Thanks OP. Just sign up :)

  • Do you have to use the voucher on the day of your birthday?

    • Edit

    • No, it is valid till the end of the month AFTER your birthday in my case.

Just a heads up, this place (well, at least the Milton one) IMO has terrible food.

Dry and chewy meat, bland sauces, and oil drenched chips. Actually made and my friend sick on our visit. Even for free it's pretty awful.

exactly, and well overpriced. $30 voucher dosent go too far with the shit food

    • Thanks for the heads up. Not worth then even if it is free.
Did anyone try the one in Fortutude Valley?
I think they only have the 2 in Brisbane

      • One in Townsville too

one in the Valley is really good! just had one bad experience with cold fries, but that was my fault for a late pickup. but with that said, I'd still choose Ribs & Burgers on James St before R&R… demolishes R&R anyday.

Just checked both the valley one and the milton one on the council's eat safe website and they are both "rating not displayed" which means that they are less than 3 star for cleanliness and food handling.
3 stars and over is displayed. 2 stars and under is not displayed and is no good.
          Beat score is 5 stars.
          I may give them a miss…

    • At Outback Jacks Top Ryde store, I've found the Ribs, sauce and flavour good. (Better than Ribs and Rump) Chips have been good, mash potato is so-so, and the side veggies no good. (Ordered a few different times and really shouldn't) seem like frozen not fresh, and somehow a bit mushy.

  • Used this and amex shop small for Sydney last week. Split bills too so paid with 2 cards haha

    • shop small… interesting. Did u get the Amex credit's?

      • +1

yeah got both. They are on the amex map

I managed to use the entertainment book voucher, the $30 birthday voucher and 5% cashback in one transaction. Got another $10 back with amex too.

    • well played!

    • What u using for 5% cashback?

      • Ribs and Rumps membership/phone app. It gives you a cashback value on to your account.

        • Ok cool. Thought there was a new ING debit card in town!

They refused to allow me to use 25% ENT voucher with the $30,birthday offer which I thought was a bit harsh..

      • I just asked them but I didn't expect them to actually apply multiple offers. This was at North Ryde FWIW.
