Lenovo's Black Friday / Cyber Monday deal starting tomorrow (25 Nov). However Lenovo has also told me that the deals are available early for OzBargainers if you call up their telesales guys (call 1300 557 073) and quote coupon code X1OZ (for X1 Carbon) or X1YOZ (for X1 Yoga). Note that these are not online coupon codes, as the online price will reflect the Black Friday offer tomorrow. Telesales close at 6PM tonight.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th Gen

  • Was $1999. Deal price $1349 (33% off)
  • Intel Core i5-6200U Processor
  • Windows 10 Home
  • 8GB RAM
  • 128GB SSD
  • 14" Full HD

ThinkPad X1 Yoga

  • Was $2699. Deal price $1669 (38% off)
  • Intel Core i5-6200U Processor
  • Windows 10 Home
  • 8GB RAM
  • 128GB SSD
  • 14" Full HD Multi Touch + ThinkPad Pen Pro
  • Integrated LTE Modem

Probably the cheapest for X1 (don't quote me on that :) Do note that 8GB RAM is soldered onto the mainboard so not replaceable. It also has a single 2280 M.2 slot that takes either M.2 SATA SSD or PCIe/NVMe SSD, and can be user-upgraded later.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2016

The price for the X1 Yoga is shithouse. Changing the specs slightly it's ~$300 more than it was 2 weeks ago.

    I bought mine 2 weeks ago for $2073 spec'd with the i7 6600U and 256GB SSD

I wouldn't buy this deal and wait for a better one to come along over the next month. The X1 series have been on perma sale over the past month. Rumor is they're running them out to make way for the new model.

    • Thanks,you save me a lot.

Btw, do you think if X1 4th i5 under $1k is a good deal?

      • How did you manage to get it for under 1k?

      • Yes. How and where?

    • Yup, they tend to switch out to the new series at the end of the year. If I remember correctly, there are even big discounts even when the new model comes out.

    • thanks for the comment. Very helpful!
It's hard to keep track of their pricing.

Well. ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 4 was released in April/May this year, and they usually do annual refresh…

Any chance that the deal with the free 23" monitor will make a return?

  • Aren't Black Friday deals better with overseas websites regardless?
