  This is slow. I have used it to set up a wifi local network on holiday and it's okay for that. Up to 10 devices.

  The Telstra Elite is from 2011, and it maxes out at around 10mbps. It's only 3G.

  These can be unlocked for use with other networks (check the supported frequencies though) by changing the firmware, which might also add features / improve performance.

  The guide here worked great for me, with an MF60 I bought years back (came with 5GB for 30 days, but that SIM had an expiry in 2015):
