      MCC has represented great value ever since it dropped below $20 (if not before that), but at this price it's just a no brainer for a quality title!

    Warning Noob question,

    Ordered XB1 on Fri so am yet to receive. Can I purchase MCC now and it'll let me download it later? Also I dont need live subscription or anything like that to get it right?

    Thanks for any guidance

    *edit^ I see it's a cd key we receive, so guessing that activating later is fine. But where do i get the yet-to-be-activated game copy from??

      Yeah mate you can purchase now and download once you receive the console.

      Code is sent to you via email for you to redeem via the Xbox store.

      Yep, you'll get a code that you can redeem straight away via your Microsoft account or after you set up your Xbox. Once your Xbox is online, you can simply download it directly as it will appear as one of your available games (i.e. already owned).

          @ninjataki: if xb1 is your first "current-generation" game console, play halo first. otherwise you may not have interest in MCC if you play any modern games before that. i completed halo 1-5 before, but i also have mcc which i really should ve sold! it is so boring.

      Syndicate is definitely the better game, but at $2.24 for Unity, what have you got to lose…. other than $2.24 and a few minutes of your life that you'll never get back?

        Unity is fine now. It was buggy for some at launch so there was an uproar. It's actually quite enjoyable. Not the best AC and not as good as Syndicate, but I'd rate it higher than 1, revelations, and 3.

          yeah just played it. on launch it was buggy so i waited. it's ok now didnt notice any major bugs, but its less polished.

          even features the eiffel tower
          and running around old paris during the french revolution is a treat (better than current day paris that's for sure)

      I made payment in paypal then it takes you back to CDkeys order pager for final confirmation. after that i got the DL email immediately..

      Worst case scenario, log into your CD Keys account (assuming you've created one) and you should be able to access it from there.

      CD keys has some sort of internal scam protection policy so sometimes it takes several mins while they verify whatever they have to verify. Hopefully you've got it by now.

      EDIT: here is the FAQ article

      I did not receive my CD key instantly? To protect against fraud we occasionally hold orders, if this happens you will receive the following message: “As part of our standard security measures, orders are routinely selected for review to ensure the safety of our site. Your order will be reviewed by one of our agents.” Your order will manually be checked by one of our agents and should be cleared within approximately 1 hour, if we require any further info

    But it says UK only.

      It's interesting that Ubisoft couldn't reproduce some architecture in the game because some of real architecture is copyrighted. Like the organ in Notre Dame or some of the stained glass windows.

    Despite its issues on release I loved the Paris of AC…

    Also picked up Max: The Curse of Brotherhood on 360 for… 71 cents! Kids still play 360 so not fussed that it's not backwards compatible.

    Oh, and a couple of EA Access trials for a fiver all up so I can decide if it's worth it for the year.

      You can redeem them on the PC, yes. BUT they (the games listed above) only work for the Xbox One.

        well, they required a mobile number SMS verification before sending me the $2.24 code…i paid with paypal, and couldn't get the code unless i verified my mobile…i heard some people who bought xbox live subs off them were asked for photo id verification…
