        @Hornpub: To be honest, I've had a number of USB 2.0 sticks and I've never seen 30MB/s writes on any of them.

        Many slow USB 3.0 sticks could have been made into USB 2.0 without any loss of speed, but USB 3.0 sells better.

  I know the price shows in AUD but some overseas stores shows that then we get hit with a forex fee.

    I received mine yesterday. Placed the order the day this deal went up. So about 2 weeks. They claim to have shipped it the next day, and from within Australia. The packaging does confirm that it was sent from NSW.

    Question is why it took so long. Are Aussie Post this bad these days? Or maybe they lied about the shipping date.

    My attempt to contact them asking where the item was and why I haven't received it yet… was completely ignored.

    In the end, I did get the item, so I'll drop it for now.

      Hope mine arrives soon too based on your experience. If not I enter the whole is it worth my time chasing up a $5 purchase… then wondering if their entire business model relies on people not bothering to follow up and perhaps I’m morally obligated to chase up even the smallest purchase….
