Same as this deal here which has expired (but slightly more expensive due to lower Aussie Dollar value): https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/269146

Note that I'm still waiting for my order from that deal to arrive (it's almost been 2 months…), so I still can't comment on it personally, but judging by the specs, it's better than most of the power banks on OzBargain by far. And at 50% off, it's one of the best priced ones too. You may be able to shave a little more off the price by using the app.

Just don't expect it before Christmas…

  • What's the actual capacity? less 75% right?

    • What's the actual capacity? less 75% right?

No. There actual capacity is 20,000mAh at 3.7V.

      • There are physical constraints for lithium-ion/lithium-polymer cells. Looking at the proportions of this unit, I heavily doubt it's actually 20Ah, especially factoring its a relatively nameless brand

        • You can see it holds 8x 18650 cells, so claiming 2.5Ahr each.

LOL. Tell us why you think this when it's bigger then other 20,000mAh units? Do you have any idea what capacity 18650 cells come in? Do you know the physical size? So do the maths.

  • Still waiting for mine too - nearly 2 months. They only shipped after I raised a dispute after waiting 6 weeks with no movement.

    • i actually received mine pretty quick, around a month.

I've just received my refund yesterday. My order has been rejected at X Ray scan and returned to PostNL 3 days ago.

  • So is this 100Wh? Reaching max allowed on airline carry on without clearance?

      So is this 100Wh?

Ha, no. That would be too logical.

The 20000mAHr (or 72000000000 microAmpMinutes ) is based on adding the alleged ratings of the Chinese battery cells.
So multiply by 3.6V nominal, times the fudge factor of the cell ratings, then by the efficiency of the converter for actual output.

you can see my review from the previous deal .. overall its ok but missing a big feature imho.

      i just got mine.

      heres a quick review:

packaging - below average. they just taped the box and the unit is wrapped in light plastic bag with the unit encased in harder clear plastic. it also had a micro usb cable in the package.
build quality - average. the unit is made of all plastic. i feel even the xaomi plastic feels alot better. definitley does not feel as solid as xaomi.
first impressions - compared to the xaomi 20000, this thing is massive. compared to the xaomi 10000 qc pro, this thing is enormous, it must be at least double the size. i have both xaomi units.
when i first plugged in my phone, was about 29% (it has a number display). it has 4 ports, 2 regular usb, 1 usb 3, 1 micro usb.
micro usb is for charging, and only 1 regular usb can do qc.

overall, it was around 40 bucks so guess i cant really complain, theres definitely value here. but for those thinking they could carry it around, i think you could only keep it in your bag, this thing is big!

update: also noticed i cannot charge the unit via micro usb or usb 3 and charge my phone with qc at the same time. xaomi qc pro can do that. this is quite feature which would have been nice.
update: actually turns out .. you cannot charge at all when u are charging this unit.

      no pass-through charging

  • Received mine a few weeks ago from previous order, nowhere close to the Xiaomi power bank quality. I haven't try to completely discharge it, but I don't think 20 000mah is true. A full charge for an iPhone that is completely discharged will drop down to ~80%….

    • that sounds about right though. none are what they say

    • I also agree.. either capacity is not really 20000 compared to xiaomi or the qc loses alot of charge.
