    Not all stores accept Westfield gift cards even if they are located in Westfield, so double-check it first.

    Does anyone know if platypus do EVERYTHING 20% off, even items that are currently on sale?

    Or do they have some lame rule that it'll be applied from the original price.

    Anyone notice that they say "Offer excludes gift card, voucher purchases and lay-bys"

    (at least the ones I checked did)… ie, I wouldn't be betting on ANY of them honoring purchases using gift cards for these specials…

    EDIT: Oop, it was only EB Games that listed that. Each store has their own T&C's for these promotions so be sure to check your intended store first.

      I believe this means gift card purchase is excluded.

      e.g you went to priceline to buy $500 gift card, it wont get 15% off.

      But paying with westfield gift cards shouldnt be a problem

        I dunno… because they've indicated 3 forms of payment in the one sentence as opposed to saying "The purchase of"

          It's very standard that sales like these do not include gift cards as part of the sale. On the other hand, it's very uncommon to disallow a specific method of payment for a sale. Sales generally have little to do with payment method.

          @illumination: Yep, but Westfield giftcards aren't your everyday fare… plenty of shops within each individual location will / won't accept them even though the same shop will at a different location. I'm just suggesting for people to TRIPLE check this time around to avoid disappointment.

          However I reckon the acceptance of it as you've described isn't related to this sale. It's related to the store simply not accepting the card, whether sale or not

    Funny I was talking to my local Bardot junior about the sale and the ladies said they've never heard about it. Then I double checked at concierge and they said there's definitely a 20% off there.
