Not associated with CWH, but I'm fairly confident that they don't price match Woolworths - Only other pharmacies…

    • +1

they have/do as per website and catalogue:

      10% price difference beat

We beat everyone’s prices! At Chemist Warehouse if you find a cheaper price on the same item at another Australian Retail Store, we will match it and give you 10% off the difference! (Excludes "online only" offers)

      • Nope… Read their FAQs - https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/AboutUs/faq

At Chemist Warehouse if you find a cheaper price on the same item at another Australian registered pharmacy or Australian registered online pharmacy we will match it and give you 10% off the difference. If you would like to price match in store, please bring a catalogue from the other retailer. The discount will take place during the time you purchase the product in store. If you would like to price match online, please send us a link of the product on the other website it is being advertised on and your order number. You will need to pay full price initially, however, after your price match has been approved you will receive your refund. Our price matching policy excludes international orders and offers that are exclusively online. This policy cannot be applied to products at the other company if they are out of stock, short dated, on clearance, on sale or discontinued.

    • I price matched toothpaste from Coles once, but (and this is dodgy) they said they'd only match one item (i.e. can't buy more than one tube of toothpaste). It wasn't worth the effort arguing about it for me.

      • Same to me. I told them it's not worth it plus the time it took…

Since when are price beat prices the only price in a title…?

    • +1

when it's an example - fixed anyway, thanks :)

  • +1

If anything, now I know woolies is actually cheaper than chemist warehouse for some supplements it seems.

    • +1

50% off @ chemist warehouse = 50% off rrp (rrp > normal shelf price)

50% off @ woolworths = 50% off normal shelf price (normal shelf price < rrp)

      => 50% off @ woolworths > 50% off @ chemist warehouse

      :)

      • +2

You need to take a Udemy course on calculations :)

        50% off @ Woolworths < 50% off @ Chemist Warehouse :P

Half of a smaller cake will be smaller than half of the larger cake.

I understand that you meant Woolworths is better.

        • +1

thanks, yes true ">" means greater/higher/better than :)

  • How long does it take to get the movie tickets?
Was going to go to the cinema this weekend?
Do they send them straight away?

      • All successful claimants will be sent an email within three (3) business days of submitting their claim containing a unique URL link to their Gift.
  • Can someone clarify the "one (1) Gift claim per person, per household" statement? Does that mean one per person, or one per household?

    • +1

each person in a household can claim, though if a person has more than one household, they can claim more than once :)

      • So my good mate Malcolm could hire out a whole cinema complex for me? Sweet! http://www.domain.com.au/news/inside-malcolm-turnbulls-point…

        • ABS:

A household is defined by the ABS as "one or more persons, at least one of whom is at least 15 years of age, usually resident in the same private dwelling.

"Under this definition, all occupants of a dwelling form a household and complete one form.

          Wikipedia:

A household consists of one or more people who live in the same dwelling and also share at meals or living accommodation, and may consist of a single family or some other grouping of people. A single dwelling will be considered to contain multiple households if either meals or living space are not shared.

So you still have to wait 3 working days to watch a movie, it's not like you can get the supplement in the morning then catch a matinee in the arvo same day. I bet you the ticket does not include xtreme screen with Atmos sound just the small screen with mono sound.

    • Terms & Conditions include:

Not valid for Gold Class, group bookings, special events, movie marathons or in conjunction with any other offer or promotion unless otherwise stated. A surcharge applies for 3D, Vmax, Vpremium and Dolby Atmos sessions.

    • I C what you did there.

Anyway most of the range was gimmicks, like who needs vitamin C to prevent skirvy, when your eating enough fresh fruit and veggies. so I ended up buying 2x iron tablets.

      • -1

I hope you're female; I don't think males need iron supplements.

  • If I buy four multivitamins in one order, do you think I could claim for both myself and my SO (two separate items each)? Trying to avoid paying for postage at Chemist warehouse :)

Thanks for posting tonester! Great deal!

    • +1

welcome but sorry no as it's at least 2 items per transaction, so only 1 claim per receipt :(

      • Thanks for getting back to me :D I will go in person then. Thanks again!

    • +1

Well it's one claim per household

      • It's confusing the way they've worded it "per person per household. Why wouldn't they just say "per household"?

This is well-trodden territory in Ozbargain: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/106834

I'll see how I go - I was meaning to buy some supplements soon anyway so no loss either way.

        • …aaaaand imcold you were right. I could only claim one for my address :(

On the bright side I am set for vitamins for while :D

        • +2
