Thanks OP. Also, apparently it's matryoshka doll. I used to call them babushaka also until I was corrected

These are commonly referred to as "babushka dolls" even by Russians.

I've had this set for about five years, it's great we use the strainer and measuring cups a few times a week and the rest semi frequently. Slave saving and looks cool with the bright colours.

What do you do with your slaves now?

      • +1

        Divorced? Slave saved.

    • Gutted missed out.

Either way — thanks OP. Got one for the misses.

      • Tried using "littlehelper" code but the confirmation page still says I am paying $29. Tried the Paypal options and also the same thing.

Ok I don't feel so bad now :)

  • $14 postage kind of kills the deal for WA

    • $16 postage for me :/

  • Snagged a set :) The code worked too and saved shipping as I work in Kensington.

    • I also work in Kensington …. But sadly the Melbourne Kensington

  • Orders one and code worked as well!

  • Thanx OP, just ordered one!
TIP: I applied the coupon code after paying with PayPal & preceding placing order.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks somewhat vagina-like?

    • +2

      Yes you are

You should probably get a fleshlight instead of this

    • +1

Totally didn't see that, but after you said it I can completely see it.

    • Thanks for that tip.. I had them in the shopping trolley, until i read the Amazon reviews! Terrible

    • darn, that one comes with a sieve, this one doesn't

    • We got given one as a wedding present 6 years ago. While the plastic sieve is rubbish, the rest of it is very solid and at $30 I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. But definitely not worth the $98 RRP…

  • is the plastic flexible or hard?

    • Hard; not as stiff as melamine, but more like your Decor/IKEA plastics.

  • Is it microwave safe? I couldn't find the info on the site, only that it's dishwasher safe.

    • +1

Pretty sure; we've used them a few times without problems. I did just throw one in to check, and it didn't heat up at all (which is the typical indicator of 2.4GHz-absorbing plastics like melamine).

Amazon reviews say no. In fact amazon reviews said the dishwasher warped some of the bowls.
