How is it dupe? I can't see day 4 sale anywhere.

    • +5

My bad, I must have seen it on an email.

Edit, can't seem to neg myself :p

      • +4

In your defense, it seems that one has been posted a while ago, but it has been unpublished for an error or something. And I didn't neg you by the way.

        • +2

Correct, the first listing was made then removed with insufficient details.

        • +1

@promethbastard: Aaah that makes sense as I recalled he mentioned two colours and I rarely click on the emails but I was so tired this morning.

      • +4

Haha, you should've pretended it was an error

"Guys, I swear I wrote dope instead of dupe, damn autocorrect!! "

  • Anyone know how to get past:

    12 Days of Christmas - Day 4
    Log in to activate offer
    No backorders will be fulfilled

Logged in/logged out. Nothing. Chrome/Firefox, same results. headphones are $49

    • I was wondering the same thing. Not sure if that's the Christmas sale price or not.

Logged in/logged out. Nothing. Chrome/Firefox, same results. headphones are $49

Not sure what you mean, but this is definitely Sony's Day 4 pricing. Here's what I see…

      • ZX660AP Headphones $29 Delivered

        That's what the title was.

EDIT: And someone posted a deal as that price as well but no sign of it.

        • +1

You're right, the front page shows a previous unpublished deal. But the reason it was unpublished might have to do with the wrong pricing, I think.

        • @AussieDaddy:

Was removed. Yes, every day people post these deals with very incorrect pricing and then when the deal goes active the pricing on their site is different. Usually the prices posted are WAY more expensive resulting in really bad deals/neg votes for cheaper elsewhere and thus getting hidden from view.

Well today someone posted prices but with prices WAY cheaper..and they are still seeing them. $29. nocure seems to have originally written that as well so I'm wondering how some people are seeing these prices.

Moderation team has tested on old account, newly signed up account all resulting in $49 for the ZX660AP.

        • @neil: That explains it. Ta

        • @neil: I think the OP must be a Sony X member. The ZX660AP are $29 for Sony X members.

        • @atlas: How do you become a Sony X member?

        • @lostn: by registering

  • Can anyone who's owned them comment on their quality?

    • +1

Active Series are crapola, don't waste your coin..

      • What about the on-ears one?

  • +1

    $49 is the christmas price.
They were 119.95 prior to midday.

  • Where's the $29 headphones? Can't see them

    Edit: found them

    • +1

Sony call them headphones, over ear plugs would be better.

Just a heads up that the Sony online checkout system seems to be flawed.

I've just placed an order for one of the day 3 specials - Wireless Speaker with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth (RRP $999) - and evidently the deal has expired during my checkout process. I had the "confirm order" page in front of me, displaying a price of $399.60, clicked confirm, and was very unpleasantly surprised to be taken to the "Thank You For Your Order" screen where I'd been charged the full $999 (and the resulting email from PayPal confirms the $999 charge).

I've just checked and found out the deals expire at 12pm each day - fair enough that they're time limited - but ffs who builds a web store that asks you to confirm one price, and then changes it in the mean time - at least show me un updated screen informing me of the changed price and asking me to confirm the order again. It's just sloppy programming on behalf of the store developer.

I've just contacted them via the "Contact Page" on the website asking for the price to be adjusted or the order cancelled, so hopefully it's fixed one way or the other.

If anyone is ordering towards the middle of the day, just be aware of this potential issue - finalise your order before it ticks over to midday AEDST or be prepared for a surprise!

    • I ordered this speaker aswell but still torn as to whether I really want it haha currently have the x77 and didn't realise until ordering that the x99 doesn't have an inbuilt battery 😣

Big w has the same set up. I was ordering those photo mugs the last day of the sale 2 weeks back. Logged on around 10pm, spent the next 1 1/2 hours selecting photos and arranging them on mugs. Gave me a running tally of $54 in total. Then went to check out and it was $150+. Had a winge and they told me that sales finish AEST and their system is rubbish. I don't know how we avoided Y2K.

I'm wondering whether if Sony is going to introduce another promo for their 4K Tv's 9400D and 8500D series

  • +1

Sony still trying to sell on their name alone. Such low value at retail, let alone the discount. There must be huge mark-up on these things. Hopefully Day 5 is a lot better.

  • A similar one sold in bigw for $39

Wondering if they are going to give a deal on PlayStation 4 Pro. Thats the only thin I am interested in now from Sony.

    • I would doubt it, they have far more sales for channels for the PlayStation products plus I would imagine not any surplus inventory as the pro has been popular so far

    • I'm still amazed it's so hard to buy a Vita…

      • EB told me they stopped making them. Sony pretty much quietly pulled the plug.

        • Yeah, it happened surprisingly fast.

Thanks OP, was about to buy the XB450 for someone who wanted them but they agreed these were a much better deal.

  • got myself one of these to use with a play station VR headset

  • Can anyone who owns comment on fit for a younger child aged 7? I think they'll probably be too big. Any comments appreciated (can't really try them on as will be a christmas present). Cheers

  • is there a list of upcoming days for sony? want bluetooth headies
