Not a fan of the LG screens, way to dark/dim for my liking.
Yes the IPS panel does mean it is quite dark/dim, and I urge anyone to check in store with the DSE test on a USB before buying. This panel suffers BADLY.
Which is the exact link to the test? Some of the tests I saw looked like it would be hard to access

You will see it. Then go and try it on the Samsung KS8000. It is common to all LCD TV's, but the LG is particularly bad. Barely noticeable on the Samsung.

I bought this a few months ago, great tv, specially the os, very responsive and great sound quality, except that it looks too small now.
What advantages does this TV have over, say, a train? Which I could also afford.
