Orbitz - 15% off Participating Hotels for Travel before 30 March 2017

50
HOLIDAY

Take 15% off select hotel stays with promotion code HOLIDAY ! And 2.00% rebate at Ebates.
Book by January 2, 2017 for travel by March 31, 2017.
Looks like the same company as CheapTickets, and not as good as CheapTickets 18% off (But there is not currently any CheapTickets codes that work)
IT IS IN $USD, and so I always use Citibank plus payment (no foreign exchange fees).

For those who are not already aware, Ebates will also give 2.00% rebate. And you get a $USD 10 welcome bonus !!!
For the welcome bonus, you must make a qualifying $USD25 purchase within 90 days to be eligible for the bonus. This is the standard Ebates condition in the signup bonus. (You don’t need to accrue $25 in Ebates dollars, just the amount of the purchase has to be $25.)

The Ebate rebate is in $USD and so it is better to have a verified paypal account (linked to the same email address that you used) to have it paid into rather than them sending a cheque.
To help your mates, join ebates using referral link. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/ebates_referral_links
A "qualified referral" is a new member of Ebates referred by you that signs up at Ebates.com during the referral period starting October 1st, 2016 and ending December 31st, 2016 and spend $USD 25 within 1 year.

Also note when I got pop up options:- PAY NOW /PAY LATER.
When I did PAY NOW there was a place for the code.
When I did PAY LATER there was then NO place for the code.
Therefore you 'might' need to opt for PAY NOW.

  • ->Therefore you 'might' need to opt for PAY NOW.

Standard term for any websites operated by Expedia or Priceline.

    • Oh OK, also happens with CheapTickets.
As always, shop around. The Expedia deal for MasterCard customers https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/276950, and the Expedia Deal for Amex customers https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/257585 are also very competitive.

      • Cheap Tickets is owned by Expedia…pretty much all big name travel/hotel booking websites are owned by the big two, or refer customers to them.

        • +1

Yep, but you can still get deals that beat each other/themselves. And so compare, compare, compare!

  • Still ever so slightly better to go with CheapTickets 16% + 1.25% Ebates
