  Rubbish socks. Bought 5 for $5 a while back and most of them got holes after using them 2-3 times

    Well my brother worked for Rivers 10+ years ago and he said they are ok. They used to be more than decent, but since they became outlet, they got a bit worse, especially the clothes. They are a lot like Target, Spendless etc now. (Perhaps marginally better, and with at least more variety). That said they used to offer repairs on faulty products if their items fell apart. Not sure if that is still the case. But they are essentially worth what they are charging with the 50% right now. I personally wouldn't pay more than $40 for Rivers shoes.

    Online returns are free to stores so if you have a store nearby go for it.

    I used to buy the same shoes all the time which they now dont have anymore,

    The latest shoes i bought didnt last too long but they were cheap like $10 from a prev sale

    They do offer 1 to 2 year warranty on shows now , yet to try it out though

    Other items have been good

    The problem i have had with rivers in the past is no srock in store of what i wanted eg socks

    If you can do click and collect you have the option to return the item straight away if you dont like it

  Just been to a B&M rivers and they are also having a 50% off sale in store. Was due to end today but manager on counter said it has been extended until close of business tomorrow (Tuesday.)

  I ordered wed night , shipped thurs and arrived friday ,

  Shipped from alexandria where there isnt a real shop

  Sadly the real shops have dropped the ball
