Don't buy 'em all guys, I don't get paid until tomorrow. :(

    • +3

Bro, if you are so hand to mouth, perhaps this might not be the highest priority..

      • +13

Nah, it's not that. I have to top up the card I use for online purchases, and can't do that til I'm out-and-about tomorrow. I have the cash right here, I'm throwing my money at the screen but it's not working.

        • +12

Did you try turning off the screen and turn it back on?

        • Hahaha good one bro

  • I liked but where is the 5%
    Still showing $33.19

    • You have to access their page from a PC to see a code for the discount. I did it from my phone browser but had to set it to request desktop site.

      • Thnx

      • Ive tried using the code they given '42788GL1AL' kept saying invalid :(

        • Signed into your account when you apply it?

Quick note: Star Wars Battlefront gets added next Wednesday (probably in US time).

    • I assume this wont include the season pass content

      • +1

        Indeed

  • EA Access is a you beaut bloody bargain and a great feature of Xbox

  • Can you still buy it for $25 at Target? I topped up for three years a few months ago.

    • Still $25 at Target!

      • Feel bad for mentioning it now. It's going to get ozbargained for sure.

        • Dont worry, There is not many available anyway

        • @TheVoucherKing: In store only?

        • @ekto: yes but very limited stock

  • $39 from jb, use blatchys Blues 7% $36 for guaranteed legit codes

    • +4

Never had an issue from these guys myself, they're pretty much the most legit reseller out there and you don't have to faff around and pay more.

  • Who has this??
How does it work i seen that it has like 60 games on it for free if you have the service
Is it like complete full version of the game?
Do the games ever like expire or do you keep them as long as you pay for EA Acess

    • Keep them as long as you pay

Games are full versions (but don't expect season passes etc - base versions only)

Games show up in your 'ready to install' library, and you install each one individually

A really worthwhile investment provided you have XBL Gold of course, to take advantage of the online stuff

      • so i can install any of the games on EA Access and I wont lose them unless i dont pay

        • As long as you have a subscription the games are yours, soon as the subscription expires so does your licence to play the games. However if you purchase another subscription down the track you'll be able to play the games again, think of EA Access as a renting service.

      • investment

        ?

  • +2

    I have it

    • It's full games (not trials, betas etc however usually EA access gives you access to trial games before release)
    • Keep as long as long as you pay for EA access
    • I like to think of it like Netflix for video games :p
  • Can anybody confirm if they've been allowed to stack more then 1 year?

    • +1

      Yes, up to three years

      • Thanks. I have a few 1 month codes and good to know I can at least add another year.

  • Anyone else having issues adding it to your cart?

  • if i already have ea access will this stack?

  • I got 1 month for free with my xbox. I guess it's the same just for another year? There are no good games available :/

    • mass effect 2 and 3 disagree with you friend

  • (profanity) that's a good deal, but I already have a fair few of them on PlayStation and can't justify paying to play online, especially since my friend's PSN is nearly expired and I said I'd buy them a year and chuck it on both our machines as a Chrissy present.

Shit though that's a good deal.

  • How long do the games last on the subscription? i.e. if they've added Battlefront, does it only appear for a month or two then vanish?

    • Forever until they take the game offline in terms of disconnecting online play servers.

I've had this on and off a few times and honestly its good for the trials EG: Fifa 17 played enough of it to realise I don't want it which has saved me more then the cost of the game.

  • Is this locked to console? I didn't see any that listed itself as PC.

    • EA Access is Xbox only. The PC equivalent is called Origin Access

      • OH, thought it was interchangeable… my bad

  • Can these be stacked? -

ignore seen the message above, up to 3 years…

    • Well I am confused now, I had to reset some security settings on my EA account, I asked if I can stack codes, the short answer was NO, then he proceeded to say talk to Microsoft. I was going to buy a couple of these…

Can someone confirm this, I am getting mixed messages. I am about to contact Microsoft too - they will probably say call EA

  • Does anyone know if you still need xbox gold? Or can you just get EA access and play those games online?

    • +1

Gold is only needed to play a game's online multiplayer, such as Star Wars Battlefront and Titanfall.

It's not needed for playing single-player games, such as Need for Speed Rivals and Unravel.

        Ahh right thanks mate
